I already reviewed this bra in another size ( 36L - Bravissimo » Alana (AU01) ) a few months ago, and I have a full review of it up on my blog. You can find the review linked on my review here. I'm now measuring a 36LL and my boobs are bursting out of the 36L to the point where I don't wear it anymore.
My first impression is that the bands on these bras are terribly inconsistent. Despite being 2 band sizes different, the two bras only have an inch difference between stretched band measurement. This is great for me because I need a 36 ... or tight 38 band, but it wouldn't be ideal if you needed a true 40 band.
The 40KK is thankfully a little bit bigger in cup depth and width, and the gore and wing are slightly taller than the 36L version.
I get a better shape in this bra than the 36L, and the wide set and stretchy straps aren't as much of an issue in this one. I do notice that the straps dig in a little more and I experience some irritation under the arms due to the fabric being slightly rough.
The color is the perfect nude for my fair, pink toned skin. I'm thrilled with the color because most nudes have a "Band Aid" effect on my skin.
Unfortunately, the quality of this bra isn't the best. I've only owned it for 3 months and have worn it about 10 times (hand washed it twice) and the straps and band are already more stretched out than when I first got it, and the mesh making up the cups is starting to deteriorate a little bit. I will say that the 36L version which is a newer colorway is nicer, so I assume they improved their materials since then.
In summary, I like the fit and shape of this bra much more, but the 36L is better made. It sucks that I got a bra that's already starting to fall apart, but it's good that they show signs of improvement.
