Even if this bra fit me right, I don't think I'd keep it. Brand new and fabric is already frayed at the gore and on the straps. The hardware on the straps also feel like cheep, not durable, plastic. Though, for <$20 I guess who cares. On second thought, for $20, if the cups weren't so laughably empty, I'd keep it, but this one I returned.
Very comfortable bra, the lace isn't scratchy at all which is a nice surprise. The lace on the top of the cups has some stretch so it's a little forgiving. Bali doesn't specify that this is a balconette bra but the straps are wide set and it provides a little less coverage than a full coverage bra, my small frame isn't swallowed by it. It also has a vertical seam. In all, decent support and comfort in a very pretty bra.
Have a love hate relationship with this bra. I have to alter the straps to be on the top of the cups like they are on like every other bra in the world. But they are cheap and well made so it's a fault I can deal with. The thing that bugs me is that I have a feeling they designed it that way for women who are wearing an ill fitting bra, anyways.... if I don't alter the straps the cup curls inwardly and gaps. This fits my right breast perfectly, but on my more projected and higher up left breast I don't fill out the bottom, but ...that is expected. I've bought a couple of these in the past and thought I could do better, but after a couple months without them I realized this was my best fitting padded underwire bra, until I tried the Cleo Neve, so this is second in line now. I do get slight quad boob, but once my breast settle into the cup it's fine. It does slightly feel like it's smashing me down a tad, but oh wells.... The wires are similar to Panache Idina (is more closed on top) and Cleo Maddie (is more open on top), so if you want something more full coverage and not closed on top or too open, this might do well on you. I am currently 7 months pregnant and around the cup size of a 34j/jj. I knew this would not "fit"me but I was in desperate need of a soft cup bra. This bra is amazingly comfortable, perfect bra for at home, no lift at all but gets the boobs off my stomach and is contained in the bra.
This bra has been serving me well in the short time I've owned it. The one thing I'm not terribly fond of is the pointy look that it gives me. If you look at some of the reviews of the bra around Amazon and places of the sort, you will see that others liken it to a bullet bra.
Otherwise, I love the support that I get, especially around the sides of my breasts. The one thing I am wary of is that it seems to be stretching out quite quickly. I am going to give it a rest for a while though and see if it recovers.
My wife threw this bra away a couple of weeks ago because the left underwire had broken. I was able to remove, repair, and re-install the underwire, and save the bra.
It fits me well, and even though it is a D-cup, I seem to fill it out pretty well.
It is comfortable, except where I used fabric glue to seal the hole I cut in the underwire pocket. This should pass with a few wearings and washings.
This bra seems to run large. The band is too loose, much looser than my other 34D models. Excess fabric is present in the cup. Cups are made of two layers that aren't lined up evenly, which creates odd bulges that are visible under clothing. These bulges are at their worst near the lace ornamentation at the front. It's not a bad looking bra aside from the shoddy sewing.
I have a very broad chest and shoulders, and wide-set breasts to match. I don't fill out a D cup, but most 40C bras are apparently built on the assumption that the high band length is all due to back fat, and so smash the cups in too close. This bra and also the Bali 3425 are the best I've ever found for my shape. I could honestly do with another inch in band length, but no one's ever come closer to getting it right.
This a bra I've wanted for a long time. Now I broke down and bought one at Macys. They didn't have a 40D so I went with the sister size 38DD. I use a bra extender with this bra even though I could probably hook it up but it would be tight tight. The only problem I have with this bra is the cups are a bit large and my breasts don't quite fill the them. Other than that, it's very comfortable and I love the all-over lacyness of it. It's so very feminine.
It works great when it comes to support. It's fairly comfortable . It's held up really good for the 10 months I've had it. I wear it 2 days a week usually. It's has four hooks in the back which I had a hard time fastening at first but became easier after a few fastenings.
This bra IS comfy. I don't normally care for Bali, but it was on the sale rack for $6. It has an odd design flaw though: the firm but soft bra material is covered by an outer layer of silkier material - which is too loose & doesn't fit the under layer precisely, so you have this floating layer of wrinkles on top. I solved this by tucking the thin layer against the edges of the underwire (like you would a bottom bed sheet.)
The cups run a little large and give a very round, slightly flattened shape, as do most U.S. brands. The one thing they do that UK brands don't however, is cover the wire in a thin layer of foam which makes it 100 times more comfortable to wear.
I purchased this from Amazon at the same time as I purchased something in a different brand that was unraveling upon arrival. In contrast, this one was remarkably comfortable, and as of this date, has yet to cause me such an issue.
The bra matched my shape perfectly; the band perfectly matched the size of my ribcage, and caused no problems for me. As for aesthetics, I do find the swirl pattern quite lovely in the color that I own.
(Note: I bought this bra used from Goodwill) I liked this bra! I tested it on the second set of hooks because it was used, and it held up well. The size is too big for me, but it was still comfy to wear. The straps can feel a bit weird because they are different from normal straps, they have a strange shape and a groove in the middle of them. Other than that, great bra, and looks cute too! :^)
I started wearing this wonderful bra over 20 years ago and it immediately became my everyday bra. The bra itself is fantastic for fuller figures as it provides beautiful all day support while staying comfortable to wear. The underwire and side stays help the bra to lie flat and smooth as well as provide wonderful containment. A wider selection of color choices would be awesome, but it is such a great bra that it's not a big deal. So happy to have found my perfect fitting dream bra!
Seamless, shaped underwire cups are non-stretch for minimizing and complete support. Minimizes up to 1-1/2". Cup has soft lining with an internal support sling along encased underwire for extra lift and an ideal shape. V-neckline is covered elastic for fit. Cool Comfort mesh insets and and moisture-wicking knit keep you totally cool! Front is lined with fine shaping mesh, with an opaque shaping panel on outer center front for concentrated tummy shaping. Patterned mesh panels at front sides help to refine figure. Sewn-on elastic along top edge of sides and back. Non-stretch front straps, with restricted stretch elastic straps at back that adjust with coated metal hardware. Soft shaping fabric targets back and rear for a trimmer, more toned look. Center back seam ensures a close fit for comprehensive shaping. Leg openings have sewn-on elastic for a close fit. Comfort-U back helps straps stay in place. Full rear coverage.
The small isn't very small. While wide enough for a broad root, it's way too deep for a shallow depth shape. The fit isn't even close, and they don't make an XS.
The Bali Comfort Revolution Front Close Underwire Bra (3P66) is easy and hassle-free to put on. However, despite being the right size, the cups are a bit on the larger side and also make my bust size look bigger than it is. Also, because it is front-closing, there isn't the option to adjust the hooks to a tighter fit when it gets loose. Overall, it's good if one wants to quickly put the bra on with no problems, but it definitely makes the bust look larger than reality. The support is pretty okay, not superior.
The Bali Double Support Wire-Free Bra (3820) is of a very soft, comfortable material and feels nice and comfortable when worn. It is also very supportive, despite not having annoying underwires. The fit is true to size, there is no looseness or tightness. The band is snug as should be, the cups are of adequate volume, and the coverage is excellent. There is great lift when wearing this bra, as well as comfort. It comes in many colours, and the size determines what colours are available in that size. A great bra to have, even for those with large busts. Looks pretty and with a satin finish as well.
The band on this bra is cut straight from the fabric. There is a hem on the bottom but not the top. I wonder if that will be an issue long term with wear.
