  1. Lady Grey Half Cup

Lady Grey, how gorgeous you are! This was an Anna Pardal Doyenne Half-cup, this was made for me after AP closed her doors so mine is actually a Comexim 3HC. So the tag says.
Anyway, it is a beautiful peach color with steel grey trimming and a fleur de lys type pattern. The fabric is very high quality. It has a great hand feel, smooth and silky. It is thick and it lacks a lot of stretch. My Lady has cookie pockets made up of very soft plushy beige cotton. It did not come with cookies, but the pockets take up the whole cup and I can put whatever ... I want to in there. I'm thinking an EM S pad would work well, possibly even a CHP pad if you just wanted more lift.
She also has an overlapped gore and a 3x3 clasp that, again, I did not ask for.
It is gorgeous. I feel like a buying a fainting couch to lounge about when I wear it. I feel like a lady of means from the Victorian Era, hysteria optional. It's easily the highest quality bra I have (and you know I have a lot). It looks and feels expensive.

My band is very tight. It only stretches to 26-26.5". I need an extender with this, and I need the whole thing. Truly, I don't know if I'll ever be able to wear it without one. Jaimie at Bra Obsessed helped me order this. With my measurements, a 28FF would be my best fit but she told me Lady Grey runs very snug and I should sister size to the 30F. Am I glad I listened to her! I doubt I'd be able to wear the 28 band at all.
The straps are a little thinner than I expected, but they are plush and comfortable. They are firm and not too stretchy. They are set in more than an EM CHP and stay out of my underarms at all times. They adjust easily and fully, they stay in place.
The wires are narrow and they are short. They are very low profile on the sides and I love it! Most of the tissue I have on the upper side is muscle, I don't need wires containing it and poking at it. These wires stay right away from that little pec flare and they feel great.
The cups have great immediate projection and give a nice lifted cakes on a plate look. The heaving cleavage is oh so appropriate given the Duchess vibe I get from the set. They are a spot on fit for me. There is no bubbling, no cutting, no gaping, no nothing. I could absolutely not wear any pads with this, they are a perfect fit and seem like they were cut around my breast tissue.

The underwear are lovely. I got the Tap Pant and a Thong in M. The Thong is described as high-rise but I don't find it so. I do have a rather long torso for my height, so if you don't they very well could be high rise on you. It is not the best thong. The back panel is a little too thick and I wish it were thinner.
The Tap Pants are great. I think this is now my favorite cut, they don't show lines under pants and they cover enough for dresses. Yeah, I'd flash a little cheek if the wind blew up, but I have nice cheeks (and cute undies). They are very classy, very comfortable, and very well made.

I wondered what made AP worth about twice as much as Comexim. I mean, it's the same seamstresses making all of the bras, even some of the fabrics are the same (Sabine is a red Geisha, Noir and Hibiscus are the same). The pattern is a bit different. This is a 3HC, but compare it to my 60H - Comexim ยป Green Velvet Half Cup (181) and you can tell that the pattern is different.
Bras like Lady Grey are what makes AP worth it. Typhoon is next on my list.

You can get Anna Pardal directly from Comexim for 200 PLN per bra, or you can get it from Jaimie at Bra Obsessed for 90 CAD. If you're using USD that's about $16 difference, which is minimal in my opinion. If you know what size and what customizations you need get it direct, but if you need help go to Jaimie. She will help you and you can return it if it doesn't work for you (plus you get to support a small woman owned business, actually you get to support two!).

This is a very pretty bra and the materials are very nice, but it's not quite the right size or shape. The band stretches to about 28 inches, which is comfortable for me. I'm still not sure whether I prefer 60 or 65 bands in Comexim as I have a narrow ribcage, but a bit of triangle back after years of playing sports and lifting weights. I'm no longer muscly, but seem to have a bit of extra squish where my lats used to take up more space.... I get a little bit of quad boob at the top of the cup and the lack of depth and lower wires on the side lead to some side boob leakage. I think Comexim plunges are a better fit for me

All of the materials used for this bra are quality and so so SO comfortable! I thought I wouldn't really like the pattern but it is actually really cute in person. The gore is SUPER narrow and there is a nice fuzzy lining on the underwire, which I appreciate.
The straps are too wide-set and the cups are wayyy too small for me. The gore wasn't able to sit flat because my boobs were escaping everywhere, so it was hard to judge much about this bras shape.

  4. Sabine Plunge Longline

This beautiful bra runs smaller in the cups than a typical 30F but has a true-to-size, stretchy 30 band. In Comexim sizing I believe it would be a 65G. I marked it down slightly on comfort because the band was too loose on me to be properly supportive, but it was great otherwise. No painful wires or ridiculously tall cups.

I figured out why the cups seem too small in this longline. It's because they are! Comexim 65H is closest to UK 30F. Naturally this 65G is about one cup size too small. Grrr. It didn't matter that I gave the exact bra measurements I wanted; they sent me a 65G with, at most, one or two of my requested alterations.

The Sabine longline in balconette cut was my third or fourth attempt to get Comexim to incorporate all the alterations I needed. It is possible the straps were moved in, but I'm pretty sure nothing else was done. The bra doesn't go up high enough under my arms. ... The wires rest on breast tissue, both in the gore area and under my arms. My Tail of Spence escapes, to an unacceptable degree. The gore is too wide for my non-existent space between boobs. The gore is not a super plunge height. The cups are not very lower coverage.

The Sabine is beautiful. It has perhaps the most seductive, sophisticated fabric I've ever seen on a bra. Its looks made me willing to try Comexim again. After the Sabine, I tried a couple more times, giving exact bra measurements. I was assured they were creating an entirely new frame for me. Still no luck. About a year later, Wellfitting by Comexim introduced the Extra Deep Plunge cut, which had all the modifications I wanted.

This is my first Comexim half cup and I really like it. I got it from another Bratabase user. It fits very well (more like a 28 than a 30, yay!) with absolutely no gaping and just a hint of quad boob on my larger side. It's very comfy and the cups are perfectly snug without being too tight. I feel like I am perfectly secure in this bra and I get very little jiggle. The material is very luxurious and soft and the pattern is attractive. This bra was customized to have cotton cookie pockets so the inside of the bra is quite soft and snuggly. If I ever order directly from Comexim, I will order the cotton cookie pockets for sure. Since the fit is very snug, I don't need any cookies with this, but it's nice to have the option. This is a well fitting, comfortable, beautiful, high quality bra and I am very happy with it.

Ordered with straps moved in 2cm and nursing clasps.

This bra was a disaster on me. I was so disappointed after waiting over a month! Theoretically, the cups, at least, should have been the right size, but they're so extremely closed on top that I can't tell if the volume is right.

I definitely should not have sized up in the band. I was told it runs tight, but it's at least three inches too big for my underbust. It stretches to 29-30", when I'm 26-27 inches. I'd say it's pretty true to size, a small 30 band when I'd need a small 28 or large 26.

The color ... is a little different than I expected. I thought it would be less salmon and more light peach, which I would have preferred.

I don't know what I want to do about this one. I could exchange it, but then I'd have to pay return shipping to Canada. They apparently can't take the top-constricting ribbon off or replace it with a wider one, and I don't know if sizing up would be any better. And this was the only Anna Pardal model I was really all that crazy about, that I was actually willing to pay the higher price for, so I don't really want to exchange it for a different fabric. *sigh*

Did you use PayPal for your purchase? If yes, PayPal will reimburse shipping costs for 2016. It is a trial program...

Sigh. It seems the patterns have changed a bit. Months ago, I wore a 30GG Sabine with an extender. Yesterday, I wore another 30GG Sabine produced within the last month and did not need an extender.

I did use PayPal! I'll definitely look into that. Thanks for letting me know, DressTheTwins !

I'm pretty sure you have to opt-in to the PayPal shipping reimbursement before you make the purchase. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. I love that bra, but the price tag and not being sure of my size kept me from ordering it.

    • I opted in and found the page where you make the shipping claim, now I'll just have to see if they'll accept it for a purchase made before I opted in.

letstalkaboutbras That was my first instinct too about the price, but I decided I really wanted it and convinced myself to get one before they were gone. :/ Should have done what you did. It ended up being super expensive with the shipping from Canada and the longline added on. :(

    • Funny, I was just thinking the same: I should have done what you did and just ordered it! If you can't send it back, I can't imagine it not selling on here.
