Have been waiting since Dec for this bra! Sadly the cup is to tall so there is empty space toward the straps. Was really hoping it would work out but no luck https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
You might strongly prefer it in the Sophisticate cut. Sigh.
This is the Sophisticated cut 😞😞😞 just realized I listed it under the classic cut. But even as the Sophisticated cut it still measured 7.5in tall.
That IS tall :-( :-(
Yeah I'm actually wondering if they sent the wrong cut.
They did to me. They sent a classic florence instead of the soph balc overlap wires w/straps moved in that I paid for. She refunded me and I reordered thru comexim
This is the Sophisticate Cut which includes reduced cup height, reduced gore height, and straps moved inward 2cm. Additionally, this gore has overlapping wires: swoon. Fortuitously, this bra does not swallow my very short roots. The cups are fantastically designed to lift and center. The straps are narrow enough to patiently sit on my shoulders without adjustment. The wings are high enough to contain all tissue and low enough to create complete comfort. The cups are expertly lined in cloud-like cotton. Anna Pardal bras have been thoroughly and thoughtfully designed! I will patiently wait for this level of comfort. However, like every other Comexim plunge I've tried, there is not enough immediate projection. I feel overstuffed into a too small space near the wire. With a heavy heart, I admit this piece of art and engineering does not fit. However, I will eagerly trade for an Anna Pardal 30GG Doyenne Half cup https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
I'm sorry it didn't have enough projection for you! I tried Sabine in the same size and cut with the overlapping gore, too, and it was way too small! Have you already ordered the Doyenne?
imabratinfluence , I have not...yet. I'm eagerly awaiting your review before I spend more money. :-) :-)
FWIW, I got a Doyenne Lady Grey with an overlapping gore and it fits much like my EM CHPs. I got a 30F, the cup volume is appropriate but the band lacks stretch.
Beautiful bra, very elegant fabric. It seems shallower than most of the @Comexim/@Anna Pardal plunges, with less immediate projection. The cup height isn't quite as high as the original plunge bras from either. I've also had to resign myself to the fact that I have a short waist, and long lines will roll up on me. Very disappointed that this didn't work out.
I bought this from A Sophisticated Pair, unfotunately this didn't work out well for me. The band runs on the small side for a 30 which isn't a big deal, my main issue is the cups were too tall. The wires also seemed to be a bit too wide for me. I am returning this bra and have a Caramel Latte Nuance Plunge reserved for me in 32F, hopefully the reduced cups will make the Caramel Latte work for me. I'm normally a 65G/H in Comexim with 65H fitting best with 2cm reduced cups and 65G being close to to being too small.
It took 5 weeks to get this bra, it is gorgeous and well made, but it is too small. Even though it is small, I can tell the Sophisticate cut is perfect for my soft, close-together breasts.
Bought this even though it was one size up from my usual because it was so beautiful and rich and regal-looking (royal boobs!). Even though it came with some alterations -- reduced cup height, lowered gore -- I don't fill out the top of the cups, and overall it sits kinda high on me as a result. Sadface.
Received on same date as my other Anna Pardal Caramel Latte Nuance Plunge in 30G.
This one has exactly the same setup as the other: standard Nuance Plunge stuff such as straps moved in, lowered gore, and reduced cups, and additionally has cookie pockets.
With the exception of the contrasting white flowers on the caramel colored background, this bra disappears perfectly under most clothing. Very thin or very light-colored shirts may show the white flowers.
This is my first Comexim or Anna Pardal bra. I ordered from A Sophisticated Pair and I wasn't expecting to keep it, I just wanted to see how a Comexim bra would fit without alterations. It's actually great! I would definitely prefer reduced cups because there is empty space up top, but the top section lies flat so it's not visible under clothing. I like the rounded, projected shape it gives and it's also very pretty. The straps do pinch/itch a little in the back and the wire digs in a little bit on the side, so I don't find this to be as comfortable as Ewa, but it's a close second.
What causes the wire digging on the sides? I have a Lily that really digs and the band is not too small.
I'm not sure... It isn't too narrow cuz I've had bras of the same width that didn't dig.
Perplexing. My hypothesis: our projected breasts push back on the wires when there isn't enough immediate projection. If the fabric is powerful, this may not occur. Plausible??
This is my first experience with Anna Pardal. This is a beautiful bra and so light weight with great projection and lift. The band runs a little small for a 34. I am hoping it stretches. I am full on bottom so my smaller side needs an insert to fill it.
Hibiscus longline in Nuance Plunge (gore is lower and straps are closer together). Lower gore is an improvement, but the straps being closer is worse. Back to the Classic Plunge next time.
There are only two rows of hooks. I already had to use the tightest row, surprisingly - maybe because I'm used to corsets, it doesn't feel very tight. The gore isn't quite tacking but that's acceptable to me. The elastic cuts into my breasts a little at the top of the cup but that's also acceptable.
Material is excellent as usual from Anna Pardal and the bra is gorgeous. Next to see how it wears over time. So far I've been very happy with all Anna Pardal bras.
Oh so pretty! But the ribbon cuts into my boob and makes it not wearable. Reduced cup and gore, straps moved in 2cm. It is much shorter than any reduced cup Comexim that I have, which is also a fit problem. I will probably have to sell and move on to a new size. I'm not sure if I need just 1 cup up to account for the ribbon or 2 cups up. It's a bra heartbreak, the grey of this bra is absolutely beautiful!
I love the design of this bra. Unfortunately it just does not fit, which I am quite sad about! I'm not sure if it is the ribbon edge cutting in or if I should go up a size completely. All my Comexim without a ribbon edge do not cut in like this bra does. The bra is much shorter (reduced cups) than any of my other Comexim bras with reduced cups. I love the fabric, I love the textured black polka dots. If this bra is still available I may have to try to sell and reorder, I like it that much. Reduced cups, reduced gore, straps moved in 2cm.
I ordered this bra though a Sophisticated Pair - Erica was awesome and helped me to pick out my perfect size. The band is snug but comfortable - it's very stretchy and very soft! This bra fits almost exactly like my Comexim Arizona bra… but slightly tighter in the band. This bra feels like wearing pajamas it is so soft… but still very supportive! I've discovered that Comexim & Anna Pardel might be my best fitting brand for bras. The wires are narrow, the cups projected and deep, and the straps are fully adjustable (which is awesome since I have small/narrow shoulders!). The cups are not too low cut which I love and the nude/lace material is gorgeous. I normally wear a size 34 band (occasionally a 32, but it's rare) and this bra fits perfectly. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
After a couple of months of back and forth, I finally have my Emeline! First off, I can't say enough good things about the customer service with AP. Anna (not the same Comexim Anna) is extremely friendly and caring, and was super helpful during the entire process of ordering and waiting for my bra to arrive. Additionally, they customize bras for free and even accept returns from customized bras if it doesn't work--amazing!
On to the bra. It's gorgeous, and definitely superior quality to majority of the bras I have, including Comexim. I ordered it with a higher gore, before figuring out the higher gore no longer works ...for me. The cups are not ideal because of this, but it still works. The cups are basically TTS, but I may benefit from a cup size up since I do have some tissue escaping from the side. The shape is exactly like what I get from Comexim, and the wires are wonderfully narrow. My only issue with this bra is the band. The 34 is just a *bit* too tight for my liking. I can wear it without an extender, but it's painful by the end of the day, and I can see the strain on the hooks and eyes. With an extender, I find I need to tighten it and move down the hooks continually throughout the day to have a secure fit. Additionally, the band is just smaller/not as tall than I'd like, and makes me a bit lumpy in the back. I'd like to try a 36, but I'm afraid it'd be too loose after a few wears.
At the moment, I'm between a 32 and 34, so maybe their band sizes don't work well for those in between sizes? I don't have enough familiarity with the brand to be sure. I do want to order another in the brand, for comparison, but have to decide if I'll go for the 36 or stick with a 34 band. It's possible that a cup size up to 34H may be the way to go, too, as I do have that escaping tissue at the side. Presumably, the band would be wider, too, in the larger cup size, which would feel more secure.
Edit: after receiving a Comexim shipment in the correct size, and comparing the cups, I've surmised the cup is too small. I've contacted Anna with the brand, and she has graciously offered to send me both a 36GG and a 34H to try on to figure out my size. I'll add the correct size bra once I receive it! I'm confused. Do Anna pardels bras fit different than regular comexim? I see your regular comexims were 75j. And where do you buy these ones from? (Not that I need to buy more bras right now...)
The size chart is different for Anna Pardal bras. I'm not entirely sure how the relationship works, but I believe it's Comexim who ultimately manufactures the bras. AP bras are more based on the UK sizing, while Comexim is based more on the EU sizing. Here's the site, and you can order directly from the site, or contact them if the size you want isn't available: http://www.annapardal.com/
The best way to do the match between Comexim and Anna Pardal For Comexim is by looking at their index sizes. That didn't change for sure so you can make the match here:
love this bra!!! the only thing is next time i will probably go up a cup size as the wires follow my breast root pretty exactly, and i'd prefer there be a little 'breathing room.'
band is very stretchy but very stable, hangs out nice and low on my back. bottom cups are shallow, providing great projection and as close to cleavage as i get. underwires magically stay put, never ride down.
the looks are the only downside -- this bra is brown lace, and it had awful pink bows that i cut off. i'm definitely sticking with comexim, in a nonmonogamous relationship, from here on in.
You might strongly prefer it in the Sophisticate cut. Sigh.
