    Didn't fit

I am a true 30D with shallow, close-set cups and fairly even but pointy fullness. I got this bra used off r/braswap with the lace already having quite a bit of fraying but otherwise the bra seemed unstretched and in good shape. The lining is odd: non-stretch silk without any darting, just a big pleat at the base of the cup and then floating around loose, which makes it a pain to shape smoothly after washing. The style is a half-cup, so if you have high or large nipples they will probably peek out. While the lace doesn't lay flat on its own, it ... will flatten fairly invisibly under even most tissue thin knits. There are stays in the wings for support and all in all, outside of the peculiar lining, it is constructed very well.

As for fit, the band is fine but the cups are too narrow for me (and unusually narrow for 65D cups at 4.25"), but with swoop and scoop I can fill the cup and because I am not full on the sides the positioning on the tissue isn't physically uncomfortable, it just isn't ideal. These are definitely better for someone with a narrower root.

Lily has thinner straps than the Chelsea, but the straps are similarly wideset, which can be irritating, I found that a 65E in the Lily fit similar to the 65D in the Chelsea. The top of the lace strip on the cup is attached at 5 points, the bottom of the lace is completely attached.

I like the boning on the band just past the cup. The band is firm and I do not see it losing its integrity quickly. The silky (silk?) lining of the cups is very luxurious and nice against bare skin. The top line of the cup is slightly more diagonal than the Chelsea, but not incredibly so. The stock photos of the bras alone make it seem as if the Chelsea is more balconette-y and the Lily is more plunge-y but the cut is very similar in reality.

I bought this bra back when I was squeezing myself into bras that were too small for me. I wish they had made this one in my size (they are discontinued now).

The silk on the inside is so smooth, very nice. Definitely a luxury bra.

This is a beautiful bra, so nice to have silk against the skin! Their sizing is just weird. I'd say order up a size in cup, and maybe in the band, too. Also, if you are center full like me, you might feel like you are spilling out....could also be that it was just too small.

I ordered a 65B and was sent one of those, a 65C, a 70A, and a 75A through Ampere's Home Try-On program. Also note that you can probably request a slightly tweaked range of sizes - for my first order with Ampere, I asked for bands only equivalent to a 28-30 (because my rib cage measurement is roughly 26 inches, and they don't carry 26 bands), and they acquiesced. (That time, they sent a 65B, 65C, 65D, and 70B, if you're curious about which sizes they pick together.) For this order, I didn't bother, since I already knew 65B or 65C would be a good bet for me ... in this brand. It's also a good idea to note that Ampere's 65B is not a European 65, it's actually equivalent to a 28B/60B.

I ended up keeping the 65B in Ampere's Gramercy, but I think I may actually keep the 65C for the Rose. I have trouble with the shapes for both - I'm just somewhere in between 65B/65C because the cups are either too narrow, or there's more gapping than is ideal. With the Rose, I feel like the wires cut off more and are even narrower, while the Gramercy juuust about sat on the edge of the wrong spot. The rest fits alright.

The bra itself is lovely-looking. I like the pale pink; it's fairly neutral despite not being close to my skin tone. The silk lining is nice and the floral and leafy lace overlay on the cups is pretty. The construction, as with my other Ampere bras, is good, and the materials feel nice (I don't find the lace itchy or anything). The lace texture will likely show under some shirts, but surprisingly, I'm not having much of an issue with most of mine. The cups have a vertical seam and just a light lining, no bulky padding. The bra comes up fairly high under the arm.

This bra is absolutely gorgeous with the lace and silk, but it's a terrible fit for me. The cups are a good height, but that's the only decent part of the fit. The underwires are too wide, the gore is too wide, the cup is so shallow that it's riding down and making the band feel too tight,, and it's giving me serious quad boob. This would probably work for someone much shallower than I am. I feel like the cup runs small, but it's hard to tell with how shallow it is. The 70D I have also has similar fit issues.

Very, very pretty. Very weird fit for me. 70D is what is listed on the label. Where I bought it from listed it as 30D. When I tried it on.... I'd compare it to a 28 band with maybe a E or F cup? Perhaps better suited for someone who has more fullness on top, while also even. When I stuff it with inserts to raise my boobs it does look good, I just need a bigger lifting inserts maybe to fake the fullness in the top. Love the firmness in the band.
Complete opposite fit issues to the Ampere Lily Strapless 65E that I tried (cups super too small). No, I do not have the 2 sizes switched on the bras.

Lace trimming is almost even with the top of the cups and there is extra boning on the side, in addition to the underwires. Label says 65E. Store I bought it from listed it as 28DD. My best guess is that it fits more like a firm 28 band with maybe a D cup? I cannot wear it at all. Can get it done up and the band is okay, but snug, but the cups are so small.
Complete opposite fit issues to the Ampere Gramercy 30D that I also tried (cups too big and open on top). No, i do not have their sizes switched with each other.

It's also a good idea to note that Ampere's 65C is not a European 65, it's actually equivalent to a 28C/60C.

I ended up keeping the 65B in Ampere's Gramercy, but I think I may actually keep the 65C for the Rose. I have trouble with the shapes for both - I'm just somewhere in between 65B/65C because the cups are either too narrow, or there's more gapping than is ideal. For the Rose in 65C... there's definitely plenty of gapping on me. It's not bad, though. It still gives me a good shape and looks fine under clothes. At the very least, I can have the Gramercy 65B for when I want something a little more cleavage-y and the Rose 65C for when I don't care so much and just want comfort. The very top of the gore doesn't quite tack, but it's basically in the right spot, the underwires are pretty much right, and I like the fit of the band and shoulder straps.

The bra itself is lovely-looking. I like the pale pink; it's fairly neutral despite not being close to my skin tone. The silk lining is nice and the floral and leafy lace overlay on the cups is pretty. It's also a good idea to note that Ampere's 70A is not a European 70, it's actually equivalent to a 30A/65A.

The 70A doesn't resemble a hula hoop around my rib cage quite as much as the 75A did... but it's still too big. It definitely rides up in the back, and it won't stay up turned around and strapless if I move my arms around. I don't begrudge it, since it's quite a bit bigger than my underbust size, and thus is probably better for people closer to a 30 band

    65D

    Didn't fit

First thing's first, the 65D is actually equivalent to a US/UK 28D, not a 30D, according to this company's sizing charts. Ampere offers a Home Try-On Program, where you can receive extra bras in sizes they choose based on your initial pick, and send back the ones that didn't fit without any extra hassle. My underbust measurement is about 26", so I ordered a 65C and sent an email to them requesting mostly 65/28 bands (since they don't stock smaller bands than 65). They kindly responded and sent me a 65B, 65C, 65D, and 70B, so I've had the chance to try each of these sizes (hence my ... repetitious reviews)!

As noted, my band size should probably be around a 26, but even still, the 65/28 band works alright for me. It's not as tight in comparison to a 28 band from The Little Bra Company, but it stays up fine regardless of the straps. The cups are too big for me, so I can't elaborate too much on the specifics of the fit to actually be useful.

Regarding the bra itself, it comes up fairly high under the arm. The straps are attached at fairly wide points, so watch out if you have particularly narrow shoulders; mine aren't at all broad and it still just works for me, but that's something to note. The elastic of the straps is nice and wide, so it won't cut into your shoulders. The cups are unpadded.

I'm really pleased with the construction of this bra. It's lovely to look at, and feels very well-made. The silk lining is nice, and I like the gold leaf embroidery against the black lace. Just do note that because of the textured lace and edging, it might look a little weird under some shirts, as most fancier bras will.

If you're like me and have trouble finding your size at physical stores, I recommend giving Ampere a try if possible, especially if you're also still unsure what a good fit might be like for you.

It's not as tight in comparison to a 28 band from The Little Bra Company, but it stays up fine regardless of the straps. This bra seems more ideal for narrow-set people. The underwires don't really cut off my breast tissue, but they seem a little narrow for me. I have more of a problem with the cup separation in the 65C, but it, too, is on the narrow side. There's still a little gapping at the very top of the cup (although part of that is just the eyelash lace, not the cup itself), but I wouldn't say a 65A would work (not that they make those). I think it's more just the shape of my breasts, possibly too shallow. If the cups didn't come up quite so high, they'd fit almost perfectly. As it is, the gapping is small enough that I don't think it's a huge issue.

Regarding the bra itself, it comes up fairly high under the arm. The straps are attached at fairly wide points, so watch out if you have particularly narrow shoulders; mine aren't at all broad and it still just works for me, but that's something to note. Just do note that because of the textured lace and edging, it might look a little weird under some shirts, as most fancier bras will. Some t-shirts work; some don't. I do like the shape it gives me, even though it doesn't have padding.

If you're like me and have trouble finding your size at physical stores, I recommend giving Ampere a try if possible, especially if you're also still unsure what a good fit might be like for you.

The 70B/30B is definitely too big in the band for me. As a brand new bra, all but the tightest hook won't stay up around my ribcage, and even the tightest closure slips a little when I breathe. So the fit's just not going to be right for me, here.

Regarding the bra itself, it comes up fairly high under the arm. The straps are attached at fairly wide points, so watch out if you have particularly narrow shoulders; mine aren't at all broad and it still just works for me, but that's something to note. Didn't fit

The black/gold lace on the cup is attached to the underlying fabric at 6 locations at the brim of the cup. The straps are wide-set which can be irritating at times.

A major plus is that the band is very firm and not stretchy. Nice silky lining to the cups-very comfortable. There is boning on the band just past the cup.

    Fits

Me: close set, shallow, full on bottom.

Crazy cleavage here! The materials are super fancy (and clearly much better quality than basically everything else I own) although the straps are boring elastic in comparison. I think this is comfortable but I do like quite a firm band. Fits pretty well although I do find myself coming out of the cups a little bit by the end of the day.
