I always go back to this one. It breathes is firm but not cutting. The under arm is a little high and irritating. The shape is very round but at least they are "up". Very smooth cup . No snagging. Laundered well. I always want at least 3 hooks at the back.
Great fitting bra for my shape, haven't been able to wear it till now as it was a bit snug and weight loss has finally allowed me to fit nicely. I think it fits a bit snug and small in the cups according to the size, I think on average I fit into a 30ff, but as you all know, each bra fits different so no surprise.
I wish this bra came in my size! It is a US size 32H, UK 34FF. I didn't realize it was US sizing when I bought it on eBay. The materials seem sturdy and the construction is fab: 3 hooks, inner sling, softly molded, lovely bit of lace at the bottom band that continues onto part of the wing, fully adjustable straps with tiny flat satin bows at the cup. It reminds me of a higher end, prettier version of the Fantasie 4510. The band seems a firm true-to-size and I estimate that the cups are, too. Although the model is listed as black, I've seen that it comes in beige, white and gray. Mine is beige.
Snug band. Cups are definitely not deep enough, causing major quad boob on my bigger side. The underwire digs in a bit at my underbust and at the end, under my arm. The underwire under my arm doesn't go all the way to the end of the casing but stops about 2 cm short. All too bad because it has pretty lace/embroidery.
This is the right model, but clearly my version is not the black one. This bra is about right in band size, but far too small in the cups and not wide enough in the center gore. I get major quad-boob from this one. I had high hopes for it because I live in a hot climate. This is an unpadded spacer that apparently has some sort of sweat-wicking, cooling function. It's just far too small for me. Back to the drawing board.
NOTE: I first chose the wrong model from the list and had to add this one. I have tried to delete the regular Melissa entry, but I think the photos and review remain. All of it should go with this entry.
This is a good quality t-shirt bra that simply does not fit me. It has light, soft padding to conceal nipples.
The band of this bra is clearly too big, and the cups are much too small. The result when I scoop and swoop is quad-boob, which is most pronounced on my left (larger) side. My breasts are too heavy for this bra to be supportive. Too much weight is shifted to the straps, which dig into my shoulders and cause pain. The straps are ridiculously far apart for me and do not stay on.
It's a beautiful bra, but doesn't fit me as well as I'd hoped. The wires are quite wide, which is great for me, but I think the wires are very flexible to the point where they will not sit against my sternum in the middle. If the wires laid flat, this would be a great fit for me. It's still wearable, of course, and is way better than my old bras. I think this would be a better fit at a smaller size. Definitely NOT a good bra for very close set breasts at this size; mine are on the verge of quadboobing ...in the middle due to the gaping of the front wires at the sternum. The straps are very wide and cups come up quite high under the arms, which is great for me. There is a SLIGHT cut in at the front of my armpit, but it's not unbearable. Pushing the gore flat fixes this issue, as well.
**Upon closer inspection, I think the construction of this bra is just not meant for splayed boobs of my size. The weight of large breasts that are naturally pushed in opposite directions is just too much for these wires.** Read more 100 more words
I really like this bra as the fabric is less stretchy than many, although I have a limited inventory of bras that fit...trying to figure out this maze of properly fitting world of bra's out : )
This bra is probably the one that works/fits the best, but the lace that makes up the top of the cup is not stretchy and thus, unless I've just re-positioned it gives a slight quad boob look and doesn't look right under a shirt.
I wish like hell that this bra fit me because it's just beautiful, and it feels like it's made out of very nice materials. Everything about it is smooth and comfortable. Doesn't feel cheap at all...it's just too small!
This is definitely the first bra I have ever felt that the center gore was too wide on, for me. It is better suited for people with wide-set breasts or those who aren't afraid of making some alterations.
The gore doesn't tack on me, due to the too small cup size, but if it did, it's a great low height, given that it's not a plunge style. I don't do well ...with gores over 3.5, so it's rare to find a non-plunge style bra that fits the bill.
The fabric on the inside of the cups is suuuuuuuper comfortable. Everything is smooth. The materials are stretchy, but firm in a way that you know it's not just going to get really loose over time. The band is very firm. I'd recommend sizing up unless you're on the smaller end of your band size and you prefer the firm feel. The band itself feels very sturdy, well padded (but not bulky), and very smooth against the skin. This bra is almost totally covered with lace, which can sometimes be a problem, but not here! The lace is all soft and silky as well...no irritating spots to be found!
It has side support wings inside the cup, just like the Fantasie Rebecca (which i love!), so if you enjoy that particular feature, too, and you fit into their size range...this may be the bra for you. Unfortunately, i think I would need a 32H or HH, or to try my luck with a 34GG, since the band is so firm. Read more 185 more words
This is a beautiful Bra, just a little small in the cup. I wore it once and it just didn't fit right, I need a bigger cup size for this bra. Otherwise, the band feels great and the fabric is very soft and wearable.
This is a very well constructed high quality bra, but the molded cups push my breasts over the top of the cups. I think a larger cup size would help, my breasts are fuller at the bottom, so I have this problem with molded cups sometimes. The band is very comfortable and there are no issues with uncomfortable seams, everything is very smooth against your skin.
The cups are obviously too small and the band is too big. I ordered it thru Zulily so it was nonreturnable. I now know I am at least a UK 34-36I/J/K. It is very pretty and had a "ventilation system" (so the girls don't get over heated). In the correct size I feel I would really like this bra.
gaaah. US 32G (UK34F), so it's too small. Gotta pay attention!
Pretty embroidery (tone on tone except for upper cup where it's purple on beige--very nice), stretch-lace upper cup. Straps seem well placed (as though they won't slip, but won't know until I get the right size).
Band is 1/2 inch too tight but will use an extender on the reordered one.
Low wings mean it's not digging into my armpits. Center gore measures as very short but the band comes up (it's not a single band) in a nice curve, so it's not as low as it might seem.
