    Didn't fit

Aerie's classic lace bralette (and the lace halter bralette) come in sizes "XS DD" and "XS D" now, but online only. These sizes are meant to be a 30DD and 30D respectively I'm guessing based on their size chart. I got the classic lace bralette in XS DD and have provided the measurements here.

The upper and lower bands are thin (0.3") and fairly stretchy, so there's not a ton of potential for support. The band length does run TTS. I had to use some might to get it to stretch to 30", so 28-band wearers might find the band OK as well.

The straps are thin (0.3") minus ... the decorative lace. They are semi-adjustable and have a J-hook so you can turn them into a racerback which I find handy.

The cups are shallow and wide and don't have much centre coverage. They run small as well, more like a 30D.

I found there was not much support to be had in this bralette, but I say that with the caveat that the band size is one or two sizes too large for me. I found the sizing of the XS DD to be like a 30D so if you wanted to order the XS D maybe size up. All the materials are very soft and comfy and it looks pretty as well. This is a great bra for lounging and maybe more if it fits you better than it fits me!

Does anyone else own this model? Or are you interested in trying it??

Ooo, I'm always looking for bralettes with cup sizes to try!
I tried the "Never Say Never Curvy Hook and Eye Bralette" from Cosabella in a lingerie shop, in size XS, and I really think it was true to size on the size chart (30-32 DD-F) as I needed it on the tightest hook and the cups were just a bit too full-coverage with slight wrinkling for me. She didn't have the Petite to try on in store (28-30 DD-F), so I want to order one to try. I'm 28E/30DD depending, so it would probably work perfectly. But being $70 for a bralette (!!!!) I want a coupon code. :P

    • yeah i'm always looking out for that combination of cozy and supportive in a bralette! but $70... yeah that is a steep price for one :|

    • I recently got a Scoop Chill bralette from aerie in small and it’s great. I’m thinking maybe I can even do xs because it’s stretchy and a longline and I’m a 30F/FF.

    • Calluna Oo I like that one! Looks kind of like the one I got from Target, the "Simply Perfect by Warner's® Women's No Dig Seamless Wireless Bra." (Silly name, nothing is perfect, but it is comfy :P) I'm sad as I've had it for half a year now and it's stretched out. It's a pull over as well so it was bound to stretch eventually! It comes with round pads that can be removed whether you want nipple coverage or not. The striation effect in the fabric under the breasts are actually more firmly stitched, so as to try to act a bit like underwire support. I am also smaller size (28E) and have breasts that don't touch, so can't say whether or not it would act as separating, but the bra really worked for me and even looked great under t-shirts! Was well worth the $20, will have to get another. :)

    • I stand corrected! Wrong bra! It just looks like mine :P The one I have is the "True & Co. True Everybody Women's Adjustable Strap Scoop Neck Bra." Interesting though, as they have similar tighter stitching.
