This is the most expensive bra I've ever tried.. It felt very well made in my hands so I thought it would fit well too... boy was I wrong.. on this bra is just so strange - baggy cups, no lift or nice rounded shape, wires too long, conical shape, the lace and seams are extremely visible under clothes... its just a shockingly bad, unflattering shape for such a high price and seemingly good quality material.
I have shortish roots with wide splayed boobs that are close at the top fairly full at the top and bottom but not spherical and very full at the sides.

You just convinced me not to try the same Adina Reay Jo Underwire Plunge bra that's 61% off at Nordstrom Rack. Looking at their photos, I did think the inside of the cups looked thick and lumpy. Your review confirmed it wasn't just my imagination.

I was excited to get a bra that had silk in it. So soft on the inside! And pretty lace.... The quality of the cups is excellent. The band/hooks/etc. feel just like a regular $30 bra though. The front straps are two thin straps, joined to a normal band in the back. The bra runs small. Size up in the cup and in the band. The 30FF was not big enought. The a 32FF is not projected enough at the wire for me (FOB), and is too big in the top. The 32FF band seems to run true to size, meaning it's too big for me. Nowhere to go from here, as 30FF is the biggest in the 30 band.

  4. Ava Balcony Bra

I've wanted this bra for literal years and finally picked it up on sale from the brand's website. It's every bit as beautiful as I hoped it would be and the fit is fantastic. I believe a different shape may suit me best, but I'm really happy with how this bra fits and the construction and attention to detail is incredible. It looks so delicate but it feels incredibly supportive and sturdy. The straps are thin but strong, and although there are only 2 hooks in each column, the way the band is constructed makes it feel very solid. I'm extremely happy with this bra!

My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

I've been lusting over some of the designs of this brand, so when I saw this pop up on sale I wanted to try it. This is my first time trying this brand so I wanted to see if the quality was up to par with the higher price. This bra is beautiful and delicate, so I was very sad when it didn't fit.

The cups are made of very fine tulle and soft lace, neither which feel scratchy on the skin. The stitching of the lace onto the tulle is really ... well made and the lace looks almost like it's painted on top of the tulle. Reminds me of some of the slip designs of the brand Marjolaine which I also lust after quite a bit. The lace design is mirrored on the two cups which is pleasing to the eye. The wires are a little too wide for me and so the cup feels pretty big. I think because my tissue is softer it just spreads out in the delicate cup. The top of the cup is pretty open, I think it would work for full on top shapes well.

The straps feel padded on the top part near the cups and have satin fabric over them. The rest of the strap is elastic, and this part is adjustable. The band is also satin and fells very nice on skin contact. It was a little too loose for me on tightest hooks, but it is more true to size than not since it stretched to just over 32". I might do well in a 30" size in this brand because I'm somewhere between 30-32" bands. The wings have boning on the sides to give the bra some structure. All of the hardware has a bright gold tone to it and looks nice. Is it worth the price point? I'm not entirely sure just because it was such a crappy fit on me. Good looking and delicate bra in my opinion, just not the best fit/size for me.
