Didn't fit

I realize that this bra is discontinued but I just wanted to review how it fit for me. I snapped this up new at a great price so I thought I would try it.

This was close to working for me. The cups are narrow enough for me, immediate projection is good, and the gore is narrow too which works for me. The material is quite nice and this pattern is really pretty.

Sadly the cups are too tall for me. I get gapping at the top of the cups and the underwire digs into my armpits. The straps are too far apart for me too.
I wish I could get this altered but alas, I will be selling this. My ongoing search continues...

For reference, I believe I am FOB, short roots, centre full, narrow to average width

This bra is not owned any more

My 30FF is a bit similar. I think I might be able to do a 30F or 28FF based on the cup height but it does seem to wrap around the top of my breasts and I wonder if it would cut into the tissue.

  • Calluna yeah I took a look at yours and it does seem to fit similarly. Close but no cigar! I can’t find any others for sale and additionally I’m worried that even in the right size the cup edge is too prominent and would show up under clothes.

  • Same. It’s a very prominent edge. But I’m sure it will be ok under a sweater. I can’t wear mine. It looks great. It just doesn’t feel great.

Mimi has a killer edge. I think if they had done it slightly differently, it would have a) been less obvious under shirts and b) been a bit easier to fit. The thick edge can make it look like it does not quite fit even when it does, and makes it look like a much worse fit than it may be, whether too small or too big. I love my rose Mimi, but that edge is a little challenging. I have to be discerning about shirts when I wear it.

If you can get one size down (34F), it might work.

  • AllyBra I think you’re right, that thick rigid edge would be hard to give anyone a proper fit. A 34 F may work for me but alas I can’t find one. I’m wondering if another Cleo bra would work if I can find one
