Didn't fit

I first tried Lexi about a year ago after having some success with the Cleo Maddie in 28DD. It fit me at the time, but I didn't really love it, because Maddie was a better fit, and the thick upper edge binding on Lexi was more visible under clothing. Amazon had a good deal on this in my current size so I gave it a try anyway. I didn't really expect to love it, and sure enough, I didn't.

One point I had forgotten is that Lexi is pretty shallow-friendly, as the cups are quite short and on the shallow side. This time, I also noticed that the shape is a bit of a mismatch for me. Once I have this on and am fully scooped and adjusted, I have massive overflow, but I can feel the center point of the cup is a bit empty. Therefore, the cup is a bit too projected at the center, while also being too short and slightly too shallow overall. I don't think I should size up in this style because Lexi and Maddie are both quite wide balconette styles, with wide-set straps, and I would not want the straps to end up sitting in my armpits.

This style gives a good push-up appearance if you are on the shallow side, as I remember being impressed with how this gave me a corset-like appearance in my smaller size. However, if you are average to full, I think the cups are simply too short to be a good option.

The band is decently firm and TTS for a Cleo 28. It is made from the same silky microfiber shadow stripe fabric that covers the cups, with very firm elastic throughout. The leotard back is a deep U at the center of the back, unlike the shallow leotard backs that Freya tends to make. Cups are molded foam and slightly thicker and firmer than average compared to most current US molded foam bras on the market. The overall look of the bra is clean and attractive, with shadow stripe fabric throughout and minimal trims, but the thick upper binding ruins it for me. I wish they had done a clean-finished edge to keep the bulk down, because you can really see this through clothing. Straps are also plain medium-width elastic and fully adjustable, but are totally smooth and slippage could be an issue. The only trim is a bowtie at the center gore. A good basic for shallow folks who need their bras to do a little more lifting than most UK bras offer, however watch for that upper binding!

Band feels good, but cups are slightly the wrong shape and cut into upper tissue while being a bit empty in the center. Overall slightly too small and slightly the wrong shape

Top of the cup:
Cuts into breast tissue (quad boob effect)
