Hasn't set fit

I like bras with authority over the emancipation of my boobs. Precisely what came out of the package. An Elila 1301, softcup with boned wings.

The 1301 borrows the band, wings, solid non-stretch straps and construction details of the absolutely great engineered boobs management device, the Elila 1303.

With some differences. The 1301 is made for smoother front appearance. Strap adjustment buckles are at the back and cups are of slippery smooth microfiber fabric with a slightly elastic sheer top panel.

The under-breast sling does not go to the strap anchor point as it does on the 1303.

This said, it feels and looks dramatically convincing, right from the box. Inviting, irresistible. Did I mention the to-die-for embroidery ?

I wear it unhooked a few minutes for preliminary straps check and most important of all, to allow the fabrics to warm-up, reach optimal elasticity and unfold from the flatness of the shipping.

And even then, with minimal convincing it shows to be very proficient at locating the IMF.

Good for me, helping hands offer assistance and shorten the hook-on process. Wow. Right.

It actually clicks on the IMF. Cups are high, carefully scoop and swoop a gogo.

I feel it stabilize, gently settle in place. It kind of comes to life, better wait a few hours, it might as well start to talk and say “Now I'm in charge, so you girls better behave !”.

Millimeter at a time, the cups aspire, literally, swallow my breasts with each movement. A delicious sensation as the slings joint the party and add a very rewarding gathering sensation.

Non-stretch wide straps ? Yes. Anytime. No slipping. No digging. No discomfort even if tightened beyond reasonable.

Yes but what is a reasonable bra setting for this bra ? Too loose doesn't really work. Kind of sloppy.

Too tight impairs projection. Very much too tight and the back might start to ride up. Yes might, that sturdy are the wings to keep things where they belong.

Mighty straps. All without digging in the shoulders or loose their flatness.

Experimentation shows that the best setting is when the entire bra begins to behave a bit like a brace, discretely promoting flat straight shoulders. An absolute delight.

Cups are smooth and somehow less “pointy” than their sister sheer lace ships of Elila 1303. Nevertheless, they spell projection with capital “P”. Oh Yes !

Even if the tit fairy had only the flavors shallow and east-west when she paid me a visit.

Deeper busts would certainly achieve a more uniform shape but who am I to complain about minor wrinkles? What this bra does is already far outside the reach of common tit-carriers.

A very assertive self confident bra. Walking and moving is like, “hey, I got them, so what's your problem with that ?”

Well suited for close fitting tops and even if the politically correct fashion police puts me on their heads-list, this achievement of bra engineering beauty deserves flashing.

Even far from a moral offense wardrobe incidents and sheer tops would stop traffic. Full bore boobs power baby !

A very good sturdy extremely pleasant to wear bra that does what it says. The kind one does not want take off even if mine seems to fit a bit on the tight side for this first try.

The chassis, wings, cup shape and slings work all day long and, even if I didn't take measures, I have the feeling that the projected volume of breast tissue had increased by evening time. Awesome ! Be it just an impression, it's a lovely one !

An extremely rewarding bra engineered for what bras should do best, cancel gravity and provide emotional and physical comfort.

And that's not all. Eventually time came to disrobe. Surprise ! The bra, this bra, won't fall by itself even when helping hands unhook it.

It holds the IMF line and the cups are designed so well that I had to slightly pull them to free my breasts.

Tomorrow is another day, another occasion to experience the hug of this bra. Looking forwards, any time!

    Very pretty.
Do you still prefer this style/shape more than an underwire?

    AGBras ,
Well, that's a very good question indeed. And the answer is not a simple affair. In a nutshell:

I was not supposed to have boobs. Not satisfied with this verdict I called, implored the Tit Fairy for clemency. Eventually I started to submit my chest to the effects of sturdy pointy “heavy duty” bras with very rigorous bands worn as tight as it gets. With the help of soy milk it worked and by progressively increased cups size, changes became permanent.

So yes, I go for Elila 1301 and 1303. And still think that they are an absolute must, best possible option for breast emancipation and nostalgic pointy/torpedo glamour in my case. Which I can fully enjoy now daily as a very comfortable fleet for laundry rotation.

I genuinely hate those molded motorcycle helmets like mass produced one size stuffs most so called underwired bras. Abyssal quality, zero appeal, all the same never mind the brands.

To the opposite, the good ones seem to hate me. I would feel great in maybe one of 13 or 15 purchased underwired bras. However....

Things were much different when I donned an Elila 2801. Which I will review anytime soon. Spoiler, rocket science must have been an essential part in it's engineering.

    MamaPagan ,
Oh yes, it sure is to the point of becomingaddictive ;)

  • A comfortable bra is the best kind of bra, right? 😍

  • MamaPagan ,
A bra is one of these deeply personal things that one experiences in an equally personal way.

For me a bra has to be comfortable and I have to be comfortable with. Like, just set it and forget it doesn't do it.

It has to be "present", communicate in it's own way, shape, hug & tug, impose authority over whatever it has to hold.

I call this presence "bra factor". It's a hard to define thing. What might have a high bra factor for me might be confusingly inapproriate to others and vice versa.

That's why I try to express both in my reviews insead of concentrating on perfecct wrinkle free catalog like fitting.

Pretty normal some models have more appeal and peak bra factor.

    Long life to bras !
