Didn't fit

In my experience, Natori makes really comfortable bras for smaller cup sizes, but the bras lack in support and shaping. Every Natori bra I've tried has a very stretchy band, cups that run on the shallow side, and give a very "natural" shape. This makes it a great option for those who prioritize comfort, but you'll have to sacrifice the support you get from a truly well-fitting bra.

The Feathers Contour Plunge is a popular style that for some reason never appealed to me before, but I noticed a friend wearing this as a maternity bra and thought maybe it would be a good comfort option for me as it's truly lightly lined. I haven't had success with unlined Natori bras so far since their stretch lace is so overly stretchy they provide no support, and I don't really like molded cups, so I was intrigued.

I started with a 30D and found that the cups are too shallow for me, flattening me out entirely. The 30DD is a better depth for me, but there's too much empty space in the upper cup, and the sides of the cup by the armpit come up too high on me. The empty portion of the cup is very visible when I move, and I can see the foam lining collapse on itself. In addition, while the band measures small, it is definitely very stretchy as the wings are made of stretch lace, and I feel it provides very little support.

On the positive side, I do find this bra extremely comfortable, and I would definitely like to wear a style like this while traveling. It sits nicely under clothing, and the true deep plunge makes it perfect under tops where my balconnettes don't work.

I would recommend this bra for small cup sizes that are wide and shallow, for people who don't need much support and would be fine with a flimsy band. Due to the plunge cut, it should work for different root shapes. I would not recommend this for breasts that need a lot of lifting or are extremely wide set and east-west, as the plunge cut could make you look really empty in the middle.

Tried on at Nordstrom - Band is very loose and flimsy, like all other Feathers bands. 30DD cup is the right depth, but is too tall and digs into underarms. Can't fill top of cup next to molded lining.

Top of the cup:
Wrinkles, can't quite fill it
Band fit:
The back of the bra is not at the same level as the front (rides up)
