Didn't fit

Definitely a closer fit than the Ingrid 60HH! Still a little quadding on my bigger side, but I'm happy with this size. The bra is really pretty and simple. The cups DEFINITELY cut into my armpits, though I'll update later with comfort info -- it's looking like I'm going to order a 60K Ingrid with reduced cup height and straps moved in. The straps on this Plunge aren't as wide set as many UK brands' straps, but they are still a bit too wide for my narrow, sloped shoulders. The shape this bra gives me isn't as rounded as I like (a little Madonna-y), but it's not noticeable under shirts. The material is smooth. The tag scratches a little in the back, but this is a literally unavoidable issue for me for some reason. I'm going to keep this because I can't return 60 bands to Comexim but also because I like it.
Edit: I also think I need more immediate projection than this bra gives me. Should I ask for a customization of increased depth at the wire, and if so, will that negate the need to size up with reduced cups and put me back at a 60J?
Edit 2 with comfort info: My armpits hate me. That is all.

  • Ask for them to increase depth at the wire but keep in mind that it might not get done. I don't believe that it would merit sizing down. Moving the straps in and reducing cup height makes it fit smaller (1-2 cup sizes, I've found), so order at least a K, maybe even an L. It's a crapshoot. If they increase room at the wire and reduce cup height and move in straps, hopefully it will be about a cup size smaller and a 60K will be perfect!

  • Sonya thanks! You're like the Comexim alterations whisperer. The 60J is still giving me a bit of quadding on my larger side so I might go with the L.

  • Looks pretty good though! Pleased that you are getting closer to your best fit.

  • You're welcome. Another option for an alteration is cookie pockets. It would give you the option of using a cookie on your smaller side.
