Didn't fit

This is a lovely bra. The pattern is pretty and feminine, the foam padded cups are super soft, and the elastic on the band and straps wide and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was both a shape and size mismatch.

The strap and cup placement was excellent. This is the first bra I've tried that stays far away from my armpits.

On first try, the band seemed tight enough on the loosest hook, but upon trying it backwards and upside down, the band was most comfortable on the tightest hook. It was actually decently tight compared to other 28s I tried, especially by Freya, but I think it would best fit a true 28 band (I'm a 26).

The cups were a bigger problem. They were overall too small and I was quadding on my larger side. The horizontal seam in the cup was also awkwardly shaped so that it was pointy and created a tiny gap along it rather than laying flush against the breast.. Under clothing, this created a triangular rather than rounded shape.

The gore was a disaster. It floated about an inch away from my body and half of it was resting on the breast tissue of my larger boob. It's 1" wide and reaches the middle of my breasts, which is way too wide for me since I only have less than a pinky's space in between.

Recommendations are very welcome!

  • You could try a size larger, and it would probably take care of the quading, but with the other issues, it's probably not worth re-trying. Too bad, because it is a very pretty bra, and it suits you. But yeah, I do see the triangular apex on the bra that you photographed....
