Used to fit

I'm finally venturing into the realm of bra buying again after a 30 lbs weight gain and (eventually) subsequent loss. I was super excited to try my first Ewa Michalak bra after years of eying them covetously, and I can say I haven't been disappointed. Although it took nearly 2 months to cross the ocean and fall into my loving arms, it was well worth the wait!

This bra is soooo pretty, much more so than I was expecting from a basic black bra. I love the slight shimmer of the foam cups under the lace detailing, and the cute little bling on the center bow. So far, the detailing/seams haven't shown under any clothing that I've worn with it. The bra also gives me a nice round, pulled together shape with a good deal of cleavage, which is my preferred appearance most of the time.

As far as fit goes, this is a pretty spot on fit for me. For some reference, my breasts are very projected, even (neither fob or fot), center full, close set, with soft tissue and narrow roots. Plunges have consistently been my best fit and this one is no different. It's actually kind of crazy how I can take the bra off and see from the marks around my breasts that the cups PERFECTLY circle my entire breast tissue. I don't get any quadding or spillage either, which is fantastic!

At the 65GG size range, the band does seem a smidge tighter than a true 30 band, with 4 rows of 3 hooks. The cups are narrow and deep. The gore is lower than any plunge I've previously tried, and also quite narrow. The bra comes with easily removable pads which I have in for the photos, although I removed them when measuring. They're not too thick, and the bra fits me well with or without them. The material is very comfortable and good for every day wear.

My only complaint is that, initially, the gore did dig into my sternum a bit. However, after wearing the bra a few hours the issue vanished, so I think it was more a matter of the underwires being very strong and needing to be "broken in" rather than a fit issue.

Overall, I love this bra so much I'm likely going to buy it in beige as well. I also can't wait to try more cuts from Ewa Michalak. The next styles on my list are the S and SF cuts, since they sound like the best bets for my breast shape based on their descriptions on the site.
