I recently realized to my horror that I've been wearing cup sizes that are too small for me, so over the summer I replaced my bra wardrobe with properly-fitting unlined bras. Now that it's getting cooler out, I've started the process of replacing all of my molded cup bras too. Since I've been experiencing a fair amount of tissue migration, I've gone up about half a cup size and am pretty solidly between 30D and 30DD, however this has become challenging in terms of finding a great-fitting molded cup bra. After trying on many different styles and sizes, I have happily come across the Le Mystere Tisha Evolution--a totally random purchase thanks to Nordstrom Rack that checks all the boxes!

One of the biggest problems I've come across in molded cup bras while being between sizes is that 30D cups tend to be too shallow, therefore they flatten me out, but 30DD cups can get too tall under the arms and also have wires that sit too far back on my ribcage. The most unique aspect of the Tisha Evolution is that the cups are a bit deeper than other bras of a comparable size, and the wires are also much longer. The wire length and projection is more like a 30DD while overall the cup height and wing height are like a normal 30D. This means the cups are roomy enough for me without going too big, thus giving me a nice rounded projected shape with no gapping.

At first, the bra looks a bit odd, because the wires are actually very narrow and look like a deep U. However, the wires are very flexible and mold to your shape when worn. The cups stretch horizontally about 1"/2 cm when worn, so they are actually closer to a 5"/12 cm cup width rather than the measurements listed. I also like that the cups are not too tall and not too short, since overly short cups make me feel like I'm spilling out, and tall cups just feel a bit ridiculous on my petite frame. It's more or less a balconette cut, but perhaps a modest balconnette cut. The only potential issue I can see is that the gore is on the taller side, but it isn't a problem for me.

Even though this isn't a full band bra, I find that it feels really secure and comfortable. The band is one of the most TTS 30s I've come across, and it's a really comfortable construction that feels snug without feeling tight. The entire bra including the band is made from a slightly shiny tricot material with a hefty 25% Spandex. (This fabric is advertised as having some kind of cool touch technology that lasts through a certain number of washes, but this is hard for me to tell). The elastic is enclosed within the wings and not visible, which is a unique construction detail I don't often see. The upper cups have a clean bonded edge. There is a bit of a leotard back, which is also nice. Straps are fully adjustable and are skinny but thick elastic, and they have a bit of texture to them, so I feel they will stay in place better than many other bras.

Aesthetically, it's sleek, simple, smooth, and sophisticated. It reminds me of an old Victoria's Secret Very Sexy bra that I owned and loved for many years. The only embellishment is rose gold hardware and a small LM circular charm at the center front, plus the aforementioned strap elastic detail. I love every part of this bra, but one thing I noticed is that the back hook section feels like stiff plastic, and this was odd enough I thought it was a fluke, but I ordered 3 more of these and they are all made from the same material. This could be uncomfortable to some, but it wasn't noticeable when worn.

I have finally found my perfect t-shirt bra, and I highly recommend this style. One other point that truly impressed me-- I ordered 4 total bras in the same size, and all of them measured very close, and several of them measured identically. Since I've had experiences with some bra models varying significantly in measurements, this was a pleasant surprise. A fantastic find!

28E Update: After wearing this bra for several months as my daily T-shirt style, I've concluded that the narrow wires aren't working for me. While they do expand to the right width, their natural tendency is to shrink down to a narrower width, so at the end of the day, I can see that the wires are sitting on my tissue based on the marks that they leave. A great bra but I'd recommend for narrow shapes rather than wide.
