Didn't fit

Boob twin, stay far away from this bra! It's pretty but it won't fit!

Based on other peoples' measurements this bra, I figured this would not fit when I ordered it. I couldn't believe the cup depths I was seeing on the 28D. It was inexpensive and returnable so I decided I had to see it for myself. And yes, the cups are a full inch deeper than my breasts. I need 6-7" and this bra has 8". If you are used to Cleo bras, this one measures more like a 28E.

Other weirdness about this fit of this bra: the very top edge of the lace comes close to lying flat against me, but there is so much bagginess right below that. I imagine that this could cut into someone who fills it out, depending on shape.

Before Bratabase I would have been woefully confused about my measured size not fitting. Seeing measurements of a lot of different bras on here, there are plenty out there that I have a much better chance with!

I wish I had mad sewing skills and could alter this bra. It is soooooooo pretty. Back to Amazon with this one I'm afraid.

    8" depth on a 28D? THAT'S INSANE.

  • Insane indeed. I'm so sad because there are a lot of pretty non-foam/unpadded Curvy Kate bras but the cup depths run too large for me. It looks like their foam bras run a lot smaller in the 28D range but I dislike foam. :(
