Didn't fit

Soft, comfortable, and supportive. Minimizes bouncing downward, but upper breast tissue is free to move about. I don't fill out the top parts of the cup due to my breasts being bottom-heavy. The top seems to sit away from my skin. I tried a cup size down, with unsuccessful results- cup was way too small, I had tissue leaking out under my arms, but still didn't fill the top half of the cup. I've never gotten a good fit out of any Panache bra, though, so this is unsurprising to me.

The band size runs SMALL and is TIGHT, especially for all-day wear. Definitely a technical bra built for heavy exercise, wouldn't recommend for yoga or stretching.

The J hook in the back. Convenient if you want a racer back look. But beware- if you have long hair, your hair WILL get caught in the hook! My braid has gotten caught on it many times, causing awkward head turning, weird faces, and minor whiplash. Not cool.

This bra is not owned any more

If you're having trouble filling the top due to bottom heaviness, I suggest trying the nonwired sport in your regular size instead of sizing down. I wrote an extensive review of the 34FF http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dlri8/

  • Many people size down in the cups due to so much space in the top. I actually wear it in 2 cup sizes smaller than my UK size. I'm a 30J/32HH but wear this bra in 30H and 32GG. You could go up a band and then down a cup to see if that helps as well (so instead of sister sizing to a 34FF, try 34F.)

  • Thanks for the suggestions, ladies! littlechichend, I didn't realize they had a non-wired option for this bra. Your review is very convincing-- now I just have to figure out my "regular size."
I'm nervous about sizing up in the band, due to the 32 fitting well on the loosest hook, and the 34 I tried on being a bit too loose.

Has anyone tried the Panache sport top with this bra built in? Hourglassy did a great write-up on it, but I am curious for more input. It looks like a great option for hiking.

  • Hi it's wrong to try one cup size down I have the same problem I try 32h and the top was away from my skin I must go for 30J but there is no size like this so I try 32HH and I found the best fit my only problem was the band I start from second hook and I don't know what I do later
