Didn't fit

In my ever constant struggle to find a functional strapless bra, the Deco Strapless was my very last option. You'd think that someone who owns 10+ Deco plunge bras would have opted to try the strapless version sooner, but I was deterred by the higher gore.

This strapless bra seems to work on a lot of people. I’ve read a lot of fantastic reviews from a lot of happy owners. Upon putting on the bra initially, I could feel why other Deco Strapless owners were raving about this style. The bra did seem to be self-supporting and didn’t slip down. I opted for a 30G since 28GG was not available in their size range. There are 3 hooks on a firm and sturdy band lined with silicone grips. The band was too big on me and coupled with another issue I will get to next, the bra kept shifting around my body whenever I moved.

My boobs are close set and higher gores simply will not tack. What happens instead is that one of the wires will sit decidedly on (usually) my left boob while the other wire takes the tiny space not big enough for a wire channel in the middle. This would be fine if I simply stood still, but any amount of bodily movement shifts the damn thing around and this is especially bad in a strapless since there are no straps to anchor it.

Another problem I have is I think this bra is too broad for me. It gives me somewhat of an east-west look under clothing whereas in a Deco plunge of the same size, I get the desired pointed forward look. This obviously also has to do with my biggest nemesis, gore height *shakes fist indignantly*. Because of the higher gore, the cups on the strapless Deco are shaped differently than the plunge.

This bra is a no go for me. I wish it didn’t have to be this way. In less than a month, I have to wear a dreadful strapless bridesmaid dress and according to the bride, I'm not to go braless -______-

Time to invest in some duct tape.
