Didn't fit

I purchased the Caribbean Blue Summer 2013 fashion color.

This is my best fitting bra yet (only my second one) but I do have a few issues with it.

First, the underwires are a bit long for me and poke. I can ignore it for the most part and adjust a bit, but it is uncomfortable. This might not be the best bra for someone with a high root.

Second, the craftsmanship is not what I expected from reading other reviews.
The power mesh on the sides of the bra has unraveled from the elastic on the first use. I do not think this is normal, as the material stretches a lot farther than when it is worn. I observed the runs started at the seams, so I wonder if they simply became unraveled because of the type of seam used (not finished at all on one side.)
On one side there is an area that the other kind of mesh has run also, though I may have snagged it on something. When I observe the seam there, though, it seems to be a bit wonky, and the lace on the other side has a stressed area as well, so I suspect this was an error when sewing the bra that caused the problem.

This bra was tight when I got it, but became more comfortable with use.
I love that the center gore is very narrow, and the stretch lace is lovely.
The seams running across the breast do show under a tshirt, but I do not mind.
I think I may need to go up one cup size in this bra based on what it does to my shape and some slight quadboob effect, but because of the stretch lace, this bra is very forgiving, as many others have also pointed out.

I have heard of the craftsmanship issue with this color once before, so I wonder if it's just this particular color that has fabric problems. Other than the underwire problem, I love this bra, and would love to try other colors, particularly the fall spice color.

  • Interesting. Mine is also in Caribbean Blue and the fabric on the sides/back also wrinkled at first or second wear.
