Didn't fit

This is the first time I tried a Panache Sculptresse bra. I already guessed the Willow would not work for me from the pictures and I was right.

The wires are too narrow and quite long, the cups just a bit too shallow, the bottom cup not quite right and upper cup had fabric where I did not need it.

The bottom cup starts out with some immediate bottom projection, only to curve upwards in a steep 45 degree angle that is meant to "push-up". I found this uncomfortable, since this is exactly the spot where I need the cup to be very rounded. At the same time the horizontal seam seperating bottom and upper cup hit me about 1.5 cms too high, so I could not fill the bottom cup. First time that ever happened to me in a bra that was the right size, really freaked me out.

The gore went up very high, similar to the Tango in the same size

The top cup was strange on me. It was meant for a straight line from nipple to neck, yet assumed a lot of volume there, far more than the Tango ever did. The upper cup especially had a lot of volume right above the center gore.

All in all I think this bra could work on somebody whose only well-fitting bra is the Freya Deco Strapless, the Cleo Chloe, the Panache Jasmine or an Ulla bra.

Panache definitely took a long look at the construction of the bras by German large cup-large band specialist Ulla Dessous when they did the Panache Sculptresse line and it shows. The narrow wires and the excess fabric in the upper cup on my bottom-heavy breasts are typical for Ulla bras. The main difference is the shallower cup on the Panache Sculptresse, the lack of the typical east-west-shape you get in Ulla in the corresponding sizes of 95K/L and the lower price of the Panache Sculptresse bras.

This bra is not owned any more
