If I had tried it on with a shirt over it, moved in it like I typically do, and adjusted the straps to where I would be wearing it. I would have noticed how it was digging into the underarm area of my smaller breast. If it was my appropriate size, I would for sure be comfortable. As is any article of clothing. If it fits, it's comfortable. I unfortunately cannot take it back to the boutique I purchased it at as I've worn it, removed the tags, and washed it.
