I found someone on one of the Facebook swap groups selling a ton of EM and Comexim bras in my size (many new with tags), and I couldn't resist! My first package was mostly Ewa's S cut bras, but I will hopefully be getting some SM and BM styles from her as soon as my bank account recovers, ha. Maybe some Comexims too. We'll see.

Glamour was one of those bras that I had often looked at and thought how pretty it looked, but I just wasn't sure I NEEDED it like I need a good beige bra, t shirt bra, black bra, etc. This was a bit of an impulse buy for me. I'm not sure I ever would've had the nerve to buy it full price, but I'm so glad I bought it because it is BEAUTIFUL in person.

My general shape is: short roots, even fullness (but functionally FOB in some styles due to shortness), narrow, soft, very center full with no separation at all.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this cut, but I really like it! My one tiny quibble is I think the cups are just a smidge too tall for me, maybe 1/4" or so, but it's not a huge deal. I got this bra in my usual 75GG and the fit is pretty good; I do need to fasten it on the 2nd or 3rd set of hooks (out of 4) to get the proper support. I tried it at first on the loosest hooks, but got a small amount of gapping; changing to tighter hooks solves that problem for me. I got four S-cut bras in this package, and the Glamour seems to have slightly taller cups or some other very minor difference I can't pinpoint. Normally in Ewa Michalak bras that come with the asymmetry pads I only need to wear one on my smaller side, but I like the fit of this particular bra better with both pads. My other S bras and my PL bra are fine with just one pad. Overall, I did have some reservations and considered listing this one because it was still NWT when I got it, but now that I've been wearing it for several hours my breasts have settled into the cups and it looks perfect, no gaps at all. Holy moly, the uplift here is unreal! I feel like I've had a boob job when I look in the mirror. I guess I see why this is a popular style!

I think my boobs are slightly more center full than this cut really anticipated; I actually get a little quadding near the gore (which is a soft tack), but because it's pretty much buried down in my cleavage it's not noticeable under clothes and it doesn't bother me comfort-wise. The impression I get looking down at my boobs is that this bra is made for boobs a bit more separated than mine are... it's like you can see the fullest part of my breast doesn't quite line up with the fullest part of the cup as you look down, if that makes sense. It still puts everything front and center though, which I appreciate - my general body shape looks much thinner when things are all out front rather than flattened/minimized. The straps are a bit wide-set for me and cut into me a little where they join the cup, but that's pretty standard for me and not unique to this bra.

As far as the materials/construction, it's even prettier in person than I realized. The satin edge of the cup is so soft, I just want to stroke it all day (which will probably attract some unwanted attention at work). Everything feels expensive and luxurious... except the weird pink pompoms at the gore. I appreciate they're "different," but I don't quite feel like they match the rest of the bra. Perhaps it was meant to evoke the marabou trim on glamorous Old Hollywood actresses' dressing gowns? That's my best guess, although it reminds me more of kindergarten art projects. The lace on the cup is a nice art deco starburst-type design, and I love the way the pink ribbon makes a peekaboo shape at the gore. The pink ribbon is also on the front of the straps, which is a nice touch. I didn't realize the lace above the pink ribbon on the cup isn't held down in any way, and it does occasionally fold over itself under my shirt and make a lump.

Overall, I probably won't wear this one much just because the lace does show under thin shirts, but it's definitely on the shortlist for "most beautiful undergarments I own." When I talk about beautiful Polish lingerie to convert my friends, this is probably one of the bras I'll show them.

This bra is not owned any more
