Didn't fit

This is almost a great fit - just a bit too small. With a larger band, the cups are separated too much. It's a shame because this could be a really comfy bra.

This bra is not owned any more

  • You toooks like there's a bit of cutting in, in the 1st 2 pics.
But if you like this bra, you may also like the Katie (idk if they still sell it). It looks like it fits similar, maybe slightly taller cups. I tried the Sunni demi and it was quadding galore. The Sunni demi seems like it's more closed on top.

  • I see what you mean in the pictures, but I think it's because my upper tissue has no firmness. Every bra that doesn't completely cover my breasts looks like that. Even unlined bras look like that on me. With the 30D - Aerie » Sunnie Full Coverage Lightly Lined Bra I am so happy with the tall sides. That's my #1 need.

I gotta be honest and agree with prettyncharmeuse - every 30D bra you've reviewed so far looks too small. They're cute and if you love them, it's your right to wear whatever, but I think you'd get much less (or no) cutting in if you wore 30DDs.

Thank you!! I think in my case, it's a relative issue. Compared to hundreds of other bras I've tried, this is a great fit, lol! I totally agree about the DD or E cup sizing, but even a 30 band is pushing it for me. Aerie is the only accessible brand that I have ever been able to find. I have special ordered many 28 and 30 brand bras from UK, Poland, etc. but they are super expensive...and none have been so perfect that I go out of my way to replace it when it wears out. I have owned quite a few Panache Porcelains in 30DD, and I can get it here at Nordstrom, but it costs $68.00 USD, and that's a lot more than Aerie...So glad we have Bratabase...

There's always Amazon!! Although I know 28 band size ranges keep getting smaller and smaller >:-|

  • ShaniSunAZ , I've had some luck with Calvin Klein and Betsety Johnson. You can find them at Nordstrom and sometimes searching around online.

  • Your advice has helped so much. I seem to fit much better in 32D's in Aerie bras. Thank you! :-)

  • ShaniSunAZ , every 32 band size I've tried on ends up riding up on me. Would you say the Aerie 32 band is true to a 32 or is it a little more snug?

  • The Aerie bras are MUCH more snug. Overall they seem specifically designed for smaller rib cages. For years I wore Panache and Freya in 28s and 30s but I always felt like they were "miniatures" of bras clearly made for larger rib cages, (and larger boobs!). I think that the designers at Aerie originally marketed to "Junior" sizes (as ridiculous as that is...) and those of us with small rib cages somehow managed to find their bras. In the US, if a 30 size band ever showed up in a store, it was in the "pre-teen" section.
