Hasn't set fit

So, the first package of my Black Friday shopping spree has arrived! I'm impressed with the fast delivery, it was already available for picking up on Thursday.

A personal rant that I have is against black bras with white/very light coloured trims - they'll get worn under black clothes, and washed with black clothes. So it'll take at most a few weeks for all those pretty white ribbons to turn to a dirty gray and make the bra look dirty even when clean, and older than it is. For this one, it took exactly one day..

This top is very comfortable, it smooshes everything in the front. I'd say the band runs tts to tight-ish, hard to tell if the cups run small-ish. I have the same size in the CHP and it fits well, even with the asymmetry pads in. However, EM sizing for me is quite all over the place, needing different sizes in different cuts (in the unpadded bras I tried I would have needed a good few sizes up).

What I particularly like is that everything is completely brought to the front of the body, which leaves my arms particularly free to move about. There isn't even an underwire to interfere! And it provides a nice shape and quite a bit of lift.

As a downside, the long row of hooks and eyes in the front is visible under clothing, and it takes a while to get them all hooked. Also, the straps are quite short - for me they're ok, but I have them loosened almost to the maximum.

But overall, it's a good wireless option.

  • I think its intended to be a sleep bra

  • Your review compels me to purchase a sleep top....in a different fabric ;-) It is frustrating how colors bleed.

Yes, you're right dbmamaz, it's meant to be a sleep top! Tbh, I would size up if it's meant for sleeping. I impulse bought it more to try something comfortable and wireless mostly for lounging around the house, but I think it also works for outside :)
Just to note, the colours of the bra itself don't bleed, it seems to be good quality. I just wore it under a black t-shirt and the colour from the tshirt left some black marks on the bra.. I don't know if it's just me unlucky, but it happens often with my black clothes :/

  • Do you recommend getting this in your unpadded or padded size?

  • I'm sorry, I don't really know how it compares to unpadded EM bras because none of the them work for me.. Regarding padded, I only have the CHP for comparison - both in size 38GG and the CHP runs a bit larger (but then again, the CHP is known to run larger). Compared to other UK bras, my usual size is 36GG. I would recommend sizing up, especially if you want to use it for sleeping and want a more comfortable fit. However, being wireless makes the sizing a bit more flexible.
