Torpedos away!

I really feel like I could put an eye out in this bra. The way it's designed, all the projection is at the apex and the top is very closed, creating a very pointed shape. Unfortunately, my apex is slightly lower than that of the bra, creating a ridge at the seam between the padded and unpadded parts of the bra. Putting a cookie in makes this ridge mostly go away, but then i quad slightly out of the very closed top.

The band is very stretchy and i need to fasten it on the last hooks right away.

The bra itself is very beautiful. The fabric and print are very nice and i appreciate that it has cookie pockets and 4 rows of hooks. I just wish it looked round like it does on their models. If i were doing a retro or pinup look i might put this bra under it, but that's not my style, and with my clothing i think it looks awkward and a bit unnatural (which is funny because my boobs are actually very conical).

I just think I'd be uncomfortable walking around with these torpedos on my chest. For someone FOB with average roots who's between a 32 and 34 band and likes a pointier look, i think this might be the perfect bra, but it's just not for me.

This bra is not owned any more

  • This caused me to chuckle :-) Hilarious!

I couldn't help but laugh when I put it on. The thing is I LOVE Kris Line panties, and their bras are so pretty, I just wish they didn't make my boobs look triangular!

  • Kris Line ought to rethink their semi-soft concept - I just can't imagine a lot of people would be into the torpedo look. Ava lingerie also makes semi-soft styles that give a lovely rounded shape, so it's not the semi-soft-ness that makes their bras triangular.

  • I bought a Kris line but have yet to wear it. From the front, in a tee shirt it helps to give me a waist as it pushes everything into the middle but from the side I get torpedo too. Impulse purchase for me and now it sits in my drawer. It is beautiful otherwise.

  • I've had similar results with the Kris Lines I bought. I've often wondered if going down a size would help. I think it would probably require me to cut the elastic out of the top of the cup but it would be worth it if I could get a round shape.

  • Laylee I wondered if I should go down a cup too after seeing the pics and seeing how empty the top is without a cookie. But I'm also worried I would quad out the top, idk.

  • If its returnable, I think it might be worth a try. Like I said, you may just have to remove the elastic to prevent quadding. I was planning on getting a size down from Amazon so I could return it if it didn't work but their prices skyrocketed to about $90. I don't know of another store to try that accepts returns.

  • I got it from brastop, which does accept returns... I'll have to see if they have a 65FF in stock cuz it was on clearance.
