Didn't fit

Cups-- wide & shallow; sides of the bra run high, but don't irritate me
Band runs small, like 2 sizes.

  • Oh very interesting, I saw some NS bras in Nordstrom Rack the other day I think (?) and really wondered about the fit, shape etc. They weren't even close to my size range so all I could do was grope them a bit lol. Very striking that this one ran SO small in the band, that is like straight up +4 vintage band sizing. I'm impressed that they manage to make a comfy bra despite the band issues, the super shallow base and the overall somewhat hard-to-fit shallowness at the center.

  • Its a shame its such a bad shape

  • Cup size looks really tooooosmall, but I'm guessing it's like VS is for me, if you size up in the cup it just gets wider and wider and one cup covers half way around my size before I stop quadding.

  • I wonder if you could go up a few cup sizes, open up one edge of the underwire channeling, take out the too-wide wires, and replace the underwires with the width that fits you? I wonder if it would make the cup more narrow and projected, or if it would just completely screw with the molded fabric shape... Hmmm...

  • I think there are limits to what you can do with molded cups. But this is a very new brand. Hopefully they will survive the first few seasons and go on to refine their cup shapes and designs!

  • Slava-Zone I think that might work to an extent, but as wendybien said there's only so much you can do to a molded cup. Seeing as how when I bent the wires it made the bottom more shallow, idk of swiping the wires would work too well.
@wendybien I was surprised this was so comfortable as well. I have a Goddard strapless that basically has the same issues and I ripped it off as soon as I got home (after 4 hours) because it was so uncomfortable

  • Prettyncharmeuse Yeah, I figured it would only work so far. Hmm maybe I'll go get a cheap molded bra from Target or Macys or something, and experiment myself!! :)
