Used to fit

This bra was given to me by amandafire which was a project of hers to see if she could reduce the cup height herself. So as you can see, one side is regular, and the other has been reduced. I am so happy she let me try this bra, and I'm so elated to see that it fits! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> For the most part. Obviously, the reduced side is a bit too open for me, even with a cookie inserted. I think there is more gaping on the reduced side because when the strap was sewn back on, it's closer to my armpit/arm than the regular side, so I push the cup forward a tiny bit. My apex also is about an inch below the cup apex (yay full-on-top-ness). Also, these cups are a tiiiiiny bit too big for me, but I know that if I went down a size, it would definitely be too small. There is slight wrinkling in the bottom of the cups, close to the center gore, but that is simply because my roots are weirdly shaped and the wires are more U shaped than my roots are. I fill the rest of the lower half of the cup fine, there's just a tiny bit of empty space right over my apex, but then the top of the cup sits flush against my skin. So I believe I can get away with it with cookies inserted if I were to buy more Comexim bras. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I also tried this bra on with large, firm push-up inserts, to see if that could reduce the gaping, but due to the fabric softness and flexibility, it just pushed the cups out rather than push my breasts up to fill the top edge of the cup. My breasts are splayed, which means I need a lot of side support to push all the tissue out of my armpits and pointing forward, and I find that even though this bra fits the root of my tissue really well, I still somehow settle into my armpits after several hours, and need to re-scoop and swoop (only once or twice a day, though, not like every 5 minutes https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> ) So I wish the cups were a tad more structured and stiff, BUT even with the softness issue, I STILL get more forward projection than any of the other bras I've had! Everything else I have just kind of sits around my breasts, or flattens them a bit now, rather than push them forward. And to top it all off, this bra is comfy. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> No painful band, no painful gore, no painful straps; it's really comfy. I guess the flexibility is good because it moves with me as I move, but just a biiiit more stiffness along the sides would be ideal.

I noticed that almost all 60 bands in Comexim say they reach a max stretch of less than 28 inches, but I found this one to stretch to my comfortable max of 29.5 inches. Maybe it's because it's a used bra, maybe I am just more aggressive at stretching? Either way, while I know this bra fits in this size, I might still want to try a 65H in another model just to be sure I don't end up with a band too big or too small.

One odd thing about this bra was that the left wire was 5.5 inches wide, and the right wire was only 5 inches wide. (This is why I averaged them at 5.25 inches when I input the measurements.) The right wire fit my right breast perfectly (it's a bit more narrow than my left), and the left wire was a bit too wide. I think in a perfect world, I would need a 5 inch wide wire for my right breast and 5.25 inch wide wire for my left. (Another reason why I don't want to size down, because then the wires would probably be too narrow.)

The next step for this bra would be to move the straps in. When I manually folded the cup so that the strap would sit closer to my sternum, the gaping went away. I'll probably keep it lopsided for now and use it as an "experimentation" bra.

I am just SO EXCITED I finally got to try this brand!! My breasts have betrayed me and when from wide and shallow to more narrow and projected (yay re-migrated tissue?), so almost all UK bras just don't cut it any more! No more Tutti Rouge, no more Cleo, no more Freya; no more favorites! It's sad, but hopefully Comexim will come to my rescue! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
