    So, if this fits like a 30H/HH, and 30H is your Deco size (if it were made), would the size 70/87.5 be right for me since I am 30F/FF and my Deco size is 30F?

    97.5 = H
    95 = GG
    92.5 = G
    90 = FF
    87.5 = F

    Theoretically?

    It just seems so far off, since I measure 75cm underbust and 97cm bust...

  • I don't honestly understand how the measurement system works since it's so different. And my Deco size would have been near a 28HH/J at this time, I think. It's confusing and I'd personally contact sugarshape yourself to ask because I really can't. You can message them on facebook/twitter and they get back really quick.

  • I'm concerned that they would just tell me to get a 75/95 like their calculator gives me. Based on how this one fitted you, though, it'd be a bit big in the band and huge in the cups.

    I don't think their band system is all that accurate, oddly enough as it's going by cm. I am able to wear their 75 band, though and I prefer 28s.

    I know that my bust at the time of this was about 110cm, if that helps at all?

    There is no straight translation between these sizes and "standard" sizes.
    A way to think about this is that the Shugarshape size table is diagonal with respect to standard tables. And if we were not so used to standard tables, Sugarshape's one would make more sense.

    Best way to compare is by measurements ;)

    You cannot go up bands and do the standard cup increasing/decreasing.

    It is weird, because sister sizes in british sizing aren't made for the same size bust measurement. like how 30F is supposed to be for 30/37, and a 28FF is for 28/36. If Sugarshape worked the same way, I think 70/97.5 and 75/100 would be sister sizes? But I think that Jj is suggesting that 70/100 and 75/100 are Sugarshape's version of sister sizes? NEED MORE DATA!

    I wish the lesser-known European brands would fill out Bratabase dimensions themselves, it would get them so much business. Gorteks, for example, has many bras that catch my eye, but only 18 bras are on Bratabase, of which a grand total of 2 models/3 sizes are in current production. Not enough to make me want to pay for shipping from Poland. Ewa Michalak is the only brand that has enough info in Bratabase to be useful, but after Strapgate I don't think I will ever buy from them.

  • Saphiro you are right, 70/100 and 75/100 would be sister sizes.

    On a regular size chart there's a diagonal stripe with sister sizes. On a Sugarshape chart this stripe would be a vertical stripe, as if the chart was rotated counter clock wise.
