Used to fit

This bra, like all Ewa Michalak padded bras, feels incredibly soft to the skin. The shape is exactly what you would expect -- round, up front, and uplifted. The color is a nice bluish-purple, and there is a cute plaid bow right on the gore (and I'm a sucker for pastel plaid!) The fabric is very soft and smooth, yet the seams are somewhat noticeable under tight clothing (which isn't really a big deal to me.)

I bought this bra from another Bratabaser who felt the band was quite tight for a 75/34 band, and it was her opinion that this bra would work well for someone who typically wears a 70JJ/32JJ. Well, she was right! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> The band is tighter than a typical 75 band, although not quite as snug as a 70 (I had to pull really hard to get my stretched measurement.) This is great for me during PMS time because I can get somewhat fussy about anything being too tight and restrictive. There are 4 rows of hooks, so I can wear it a little looser during that uncomfortable time of the month, but I can also wear it tighter during regular times. If there was ever such thing as a 33 band, this bra would be it!

I had quite a bit of empty space at the bottom of the cups when I first tried it on, but after readjusting myself a few times, I realized I was just wearing it too low (I guess I had fake "orange in a glass" until I fixed it.) I didn't have this issue with the 70JJ S Porcelanka, which immediately fit in the cups without much effort. It seems as if the cups on this bra are actually taller than on my S Porcelanka, which is in a sister size of this one. I wish I would have measured the tallness on both of those to confirm this assumption. Even though the fit is slightly different on the two, the end result is essentially the same (which is all that matters!)

The S shape is great for me because I have very, very soft boobs, and the cups and gore are tall enough to keep me from spilling out (which was a problem I had with the Hp and Chp shapes.) My boobs are very close together, so I do wish the gore was a tiny bit shorter or smaller, but it doesn't cause me any discomfort as it is.

This bra is not owned any more

  • "The fabric is very soft and smooth" - is it cotton lined?

  • That comment was meant more for the outside of the cups, but I think the inside is lined with cotton (not 100% sure though.) It is soft, but not as satiny as the outside (if that makes any sense.)

  • I meant to add -- whatever it is made of, combined with the padding, feels heavenly! "Boobs on clouds," for sure! :)
