Used to fit

The Parfait by Affinitas Anna unpadded half cup is pretty and fits well. (Please note I've entered it into Bratabase as a new model, but it is in fact the one called Anna Wired Bra. The bra model that already exists in Bratabase as the Anna Wired Bra is described as the Half Padded version, which is incorrect. The Anna balcony bra is the padded one. I haven't tried that one. I entered mine as a new model to make clear it is NOT padded.) It is lined only with mesh that is the same fabric and color as the outer cup material. There is a side sling of the same thin mesh. The side sling continues 2.5" above the top edge of the cup, tapering to a triangular shape that then connects to the strap. The review on hourglassy.com has some good pictures.

The wires contain all my side tissue and come up high enough under the arms. I should note that my cup width and depth measurements are taken as though the underwire is long enough to fill the channel. As in many bras, however, there is almost half an inch of unfilled underwire channel. My wire length measurement reflects the actual wire length.

While my fit issues entry says this bra causes quadboobing, I feel pattyt's review accurately describes it as a style, rather than fitting, issue. The seam at the top of the cups, which is covered by applique, is tighter than the rest of the cup. The side view shows a slight flattening in that area.

The sewing was a little sloppy where the applique was attached at the front of the right cup. It doesn't ruin the bra for me. I haven't worn this as much as I expected because the appliques are thick and show through a lot of tops. While I don't mind evidence that I am wearing a bra or that I am a mammal (nipples), this bra is by far the most insistent on being seen under tops.

There is side boning, which I like, but it started curving out and away from my body after a few wears. Unlike the boning in the Donna Wired Bra, the Anna's boning doesn't seem strong enough to play its part with the bra's other elements. This curving out doesn't affect the look when I wear clothes.

This bra is not owned any more
