I haven't had much luck with M&S bras or plunges in general (I have rather shallow, wide-set breasts and prefer half-cups), so I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortably this one fit. The cups are relatively shallow with the volume evenly distributed, and the cup edge neither gapes nor cuts in towards the centre. The wires are slightly narrower than those of the M&S balconettes.

Like many (most?) Autograph and Limited Collection bras, this one runs small in the band. As per the measurements, it's more like a 28 than a 30; my underbust is 26"/66cm and I can wear it on the loosest hooks without the band shifting or riding up, although if I preferred very tight bands I'd probably want a 28. The modal fabric is very comfortable and soft without being too stretchy.

Regarding the design, my only complaints are that the thin band elastic digs in quite easily and the edge of the satin trim is clearly visible under a thin top (it almost looks like the cup edge on a bra that's too small). It's still very wearable, but not ideal for fitted tees.
