Didn't fit

I was unsure about the Freya Trudie when I saw it online, the combination of polka dots and flowers looked to be a little much! However when I received it I completely changed my mind, in person she's ever so pretty, cute and fun, and looks great on. I love the colours, especially the mint green straps, I've wasted a lot of time just looking at it! Appearance-wise it is one of my favourite bras.

Considering it's an unpadded bra I think it gives a lovely shape, uplifted but natural, and the support is very good too. It does make my boobs look ever so slightly (and I do mean only a tiny bit) pointy, but as soon as I have clothes on over the top it smoothes right out and looks very nice. I personally haven't had a problem with the seams or embroidery showing through even tight t-shirts, but very thin clothes could be a problem, or if you're someone who is particularly conscious about things like that.

As far as fit goes; my ribcage measures 29" and I think I probably could have gone for a 28 band, as I can stretch the it out a good 3-4 inches from my back. I do also find that the underwires are extremely pokey with very little padding, on my sternum and under my arms. I am unsure as to whether this is because I need to go up in the cup, or whether my ribcage flairs out and my sternum is especially bony, or whether the bra just needs a little more breaking in (I am very new to the world of lingerie and correctly fitting bras and am finding myself on a steep learning curve !)
Because of this I can only comfortably wear this bra for about 6 hours before it starts to get quite painful.

Overall, the bra is beautiful and really good quality, and gives a nice shape and support. However, in this size, I think my fit may need a little tweaking.
