Used to fit

This is a simple black satin plunge bra. It looks very sexy but it's great for everyday wear too.

The band sizing is more comparable to non-padded Curvy Kate bras than to the Showgirl range, which is good for me as the Showgirl bras I always find too loose. The band on this is just right on the loosest hook. I usually have to size up with plunge bras, and this one is no exception. The G cup (instead of my usual FF) is a nice fit, comfortably encasing my boobs and pushing them together for a bit of cleavage. The only problem with the cups, and part of the reason I had to size up, is that they are very shallow at the base and about a centimetre of fabric just next to the underwire lays flat against my chest. I have bottom-heavy breasts and I've had this issue on several plunge bras, sometimes causing me to pop out, but with this one the issue is very minor and I haven't had any popping out problems! The wires under the armpits are a good height to prevent side boob, but not so high they dig in. The wires at the front come very low so they cause no problem at all and won't show under a low-cut top.

The bra is very comfortable to wear all day long and the band is quite firm so you feel supported. The lace detailing on the edge of the cups is quite thick but flat to the bra so it would only show under a tight, stretchy t-shirt. Overall, a very nice bra.

This bra is not owned any more
