A quick question about fitting

So would it be possible to measure 30 inches in the ribcage and yet have a better fit in a 32 band? I've had a lot of frustrations with this as of late as it seems 30 bands are too tight, yet I'm scared a 32 would be too loose. Blah frustrations

Also, does anyone happen to know of a good lingerie boutique up near the Portland, OR area?

  • Yes, it is possible. Some 30-bands only stretch up to a 29 inches, while some might even stretch up to 33 or something so you might most definitly need 32-bands in some bras. I measure 27" and I need everything from 24 to 32 bands, though I'm mainly in the 26-30-range.

If the band feels just a bit too tight, why not invest in a pack of extenders? Comes super-cheap at eBay and, it will probably make you feel more comfortable and give longer life to your bra if it feels too tight.

At the same time, if it seem to fit well, but only feels too tight it might be that a 32-band still would be too big in theband and you might very much be better off in a 30-band with extender instead of a 32-band. It is really hard to say but being inbetween sizes is not unusual.

  • I think so! I measure a little above 32'' and I can only wear a 34 in @Panache as their 34s (the ones I own, at least) don't even stretch past 33'' for a while.
