Bra-lightenment!
I just wanted to share a bit of my bra life. For starters, I've always knows I had the wrong bra size because I have a very small frame but there weren't any small bands that I could find. I always where my bra on the tightest hook, even when it is brand new.
I had been wearing 34B since I was a teen but recently the cups of all my bras were far too small. I went up to a 34C which fit much better but made my breasts look much saggier and made me appear heavier. Just recently I did my measurements and tried some calculators and I was told my size was closer to 30DD! I couldn't believe I was a D cup, even my aunt told me I was crazy, that my boobs aren't that big.
I've learned a lot about bras, how the cups are relative and how the hooks are somewhat of a timeline. Now I am throwing out or selling my old bras and looking for new ones. There aren't any stores where I live that sell "odd" sizes but I am lucky to find some 32D at TJ Maxx, and depending on the brand and style, they fit well.
Now I feel compelled to help others find their perfect bras! I can already see a difference in my new bra than my old one; my breasts aren't squashed and I don't look like my boobs are down to my belly button. I can't wait to order a 30DD to see how it fits and looks. Glad to find this little community too

Hi there! I bet people in my area would think I was a delusional lunatic if I told the majority of them that I was a 32FF or G, or 30 higher letter, etc. I love that your aunt told you that you were crazy. Before I learned about correct bra sizing, my sister in law had a mastectomy. She was upset and told me that she went from a DD cup to nothing. I felt for her, but secretly thought that there was no way in heck that she was a DD if I was only a C or D and was much larger than her. Now I know that I was the crazy one. She is wealthy, so there is a good chance she was shopping at Nordstrom vs. my Victoria's Secret, thus she was sized right and I was the nut. Have you tried Norstrom Rack? I have had no luck in my area, but you may be better luck in yours. Also, I have had a pretty good run on Ebay. You might try there. Oh, also Brastop, depending on where you live.
Hi :) I don't have a Nordstrom anywhere near me unfortunately but I have been looking for some on ebay! I'm not sure what style will suit me but I guess that's what this site is good for. I've always only worn molded bras but I'd like to try balconette or demis. I have checked out Brastop, they have great prices! I live in the US so it isn't always practical to buy from out of country. Nordstrom does offer free shipping so that could be an option too.
