What to respond to bra boutique?

I have been in contact with every bra store that claims to carry larger sizes here on my island, except one until today: I inquired today if they had Panache, Freya, Elomi or Curvy Kate or other UK brands, and they responded that they had Freya Deco and a Fauve-bra up to UK G-cup. I asked how come they didn't carry the full size range, since I recalled Deco went to GG, and Fauve is often up to H, but that it was the shame that those were the only ones they stocked, because it wouldn't do for me either way. She then urged me to email her, so we could have a detailed talk "Because we are absolutely sure that we what have in stock can cover most needs".
This is a major issue for me: I despise if certain ranges are viewed as surely having it all, no matter how big it is, because inevitable, the women will come where they have to say "Sorry, we meant all NORMAL sizes". And if they only carry up to UK G-cup (and no 28bands), they would technically have to say that a lot.
So in my email, I want to let it drop that I don't think it is ok to make such claim. But on the other hand, I don't wish to get snarky at a women running a small business. And I guess it is a moot-point for me, since I probably won't get a bra or fitting out of it anyways.

Meh. How do I briefly/lightly let her know, that no, I don't think I can be fitted into that selection, and no, you cannot claim to be abseloutly sure that most can.

I'd just say thanks, but I have tried on Brand X, Y and Z in size A, B, and C and found that I have significant issues. For instance, in XA I had a quad-boob that was visible under a shirt, or the back rode up immediately, etc

Then she has specifics and can't say, well, this one might work for you.

  • Maybe you can link her to your Bratabase reviews. They have the bra measurements and whether or not the bras fit you. You can say, you clearly won't be able to fit in the range of bras she has in her shop. Just be honest and say you had higher expectations and it might be good to mention there are other women that have the same or similar bra sizes as you.

In all honestly, it seems like she really wants to help. If it's a small business she probably has limited stock because of what she's able to sell. If anything, would she be able to order some of the larger sizes for you to try?
