Does anyone have any thoughts on underwires near the armpit feeling uncomfortable and pressing into the body? I have been fitted at some excellent shops recently and I am so sure I'm in my correct size.

Is the pressing more like a poke into your armpit, or is it more of a pinching feeling on the side of your breast?
If it pokes really high, like near your armpit, the underwire could be too long or too wide.
If it pinched and feels like it’s sitting on breast tissue, the wires could be too short or too narrow.
Agree with @pretty_promise!
If you're on the shorter side and/or your boobs are high-set, wire length can be an issue.
Also, if your breast roots are wider than your bra accomodates, wires can pinch/poke because they're too narrow.
Even in the 'correct size', there's major differences in wire length, wire width, wire firmness etc. between different bra models and brands!
