So much breast tissue in my armpits
My overall build and shape, with so much of my breast tissue in my armpits and slightly tuberous breasts, has gotten me feeling frustrated and a little down on myself lately.
I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. I'm not a doctor, but I'm convinced that the reason that my breasts are tuberous and sag is due to the natural laxity of my skin. A majority of my breast tissue is along the sides of my ribcage, near each underarm. I always wonder if the tendency towards hypermobility also affects the distribution of my breast tissue. 30DD, 30E, 30D, 32D, 32DD...something will fit but it will be uncomfortable, or something will be comfortable but not fit correctly. It's so hard to find both.
People can say such insensitive, flippant things - whether it was my friend who said "it must suck to have small breasts" and there's "no f-ing way that I'm a DD" or the nurse after my shoulder surgery telling me that people like me don't need to worry about wearing a bra. I try to be body-positive and thankful for all of the things my body does for me everyday, but it's so hard when trying to laugh off these types of comments and dealing with a chronic illness.

Ugh, so I don't know if it's due to my medical conditions or what, but I almost always have the "headlights" look. It seems to show through sports bras, bralettes, and some very thinly lined regular bras. This whole area of my body is such a situation, I swear!
