I'd like some opinions. I tend to wear bras according to how they fit rather than my actual measurements, since my boobs are shallow. I wear a 32J, but just realized that my boobs measure 46.5" which technically puts me at a 32JJ. Since I just bought a 32HH/J bralette, I don't know whether I should try buying a 32J/JJ bralette to see how it fits.

  • Well, I say always go by fit! I think sometimes we get caught up in the size itself, which varies so much brand to brand.

  • I agree with getting caught up in the size itself. I think I'm a little thoughtful because I noticed today that my bralette which I thought fit well, was digging into my shoulder and hurting it. I think the chest area is so snug that the outward push of my breasts is causing the straps to pull into my shoulders. Plus it's compressing rather than supporting me - like a sports bra which would explain why I sometimes feel flatter in it. Sometimes I don't notice for issues until I've worn a new bra for a while and I've only worn this 3 times.

I would say overall that it provides a nice snug fit, but knowing these issues and realising that I could be a size bigger is making me think that maybe I'm wearing a size too small, but my current bralette doesn't come in a J/JJ, so to know if I fit in this size I will have to order yet another bra. Or just stick with what I have.
