Freya bras in large cups are actually good!

Since when are they actually good in large sizes?! I was one who trashed them here and said they are not good in large sizes.
I have to take back my words, at least for newer collections. (the bras I ordered are from 2019 collections)

So back in the day around 2012 when I started to wear a bra that fits, I tried Freya bras and found them weak in wires and not supportive. Reviews that were around at that time were all negative about any above a J cup: flimsy wires, weak bands, east west droopy shape...
This kept me from trying any Freya bras for years. Also if the topic came up I warned everyone here not to try them in large sizes.

Enter 2019 when my size changed and my go-to bras suddenly would not work anymore, I decided to try them again.
I got 30K - Freya ยป Starlight Side Support Bra (5201) which was made of an itchy fabric and much too big in the cups. Of course it wasn't supportive so I wrote them off again. Enter 2021 and a positive review by twtelling made me want to try Freya bras again. I got some bargain ones and the first that has arrived is already really good. I will post updates and reviews.

I just wanted to get the word out that Freya really stepped up their game and their large cup bras are actually good now. I mean they feel like Panache Tango in support but the shape is 100 times better!

  • That's fantastic! I'm so glad you found some good deals and they're looking like they'll work out for you.
