Best tips to bravangelize a friend

I'm getting finally a bit closer to bravangelize my best friend. Yesterday she wanted to buy cheap bra at Aldi, Thankful they did not have any bras for sale. I offered to help her to get a really good bra but that we need to take her measurements first. She agreed but insisted she is like 85D.

I have tried for years with no real success to fit her into decent bras as she insists to buy cheap padded bras in the wrong size. She usually buys them on sale in H&M or other cheap store and just gets what she can put on, like anything 80-90C-D. I'm 100% sure that is not her size. She has lots of side boob going on, barely quadboob though. She wants uplift and a bra that makes her boobs look rounder and bigger.

So first problem is how to convince someone that a decent bra cost more than 10$ in sale. Second problem, she has no back pain from bras and also dont considers the ill fit a problem as she thinks it just is what it is.
I tried to show my bras and how they fit but... she just says: yes you need good bras at your size, my boobs are not that big I don't need these expensive special bras. Any tips how to convince her?

  • is there any way you can go shopping with her and have her try on the right size without letting her see the tag?
hopefully she should see a difference with the right size

  • It's not possible right now as clothing stores are closed here. Only essential shops are open like Aldi etc for food. The bras she likes usually only come up to D. A store that carries higher sizes, she would not go in as prices for those are 100+. I hope she will let me get her measurements and then I'll look online for sale maybe second hand or giveaway bra for her to try in her new size.
