“Sticker Shock” and calculators

I came here from the reddit r/abrathatfits, and with their calculator I was about a 30FF. I tried on some bras and they were way too small. I then got some 30Gs and they fit almost perfectly, but returned them because the shapes were a little off and I didn’t want to commit. (I wish I had documented them all, oh well.)

Now I use bratabases calculator and they say I’m a 32HH or even a J!! I know it’s probably because of asymmetry and not that big of a difference, but 32HH seems way larger than 30G to me. Should I trust this algorithm more and try some of this larger size even if the Gs were okay?

  • The calculator here takes a bit of time to adjust to your "true/actual" size. It works better once you've entered a few fitting bras. Until then it's just an estimate. Keep trying bras in different shapes and sizes and eventually you'll find one that works! Once you start finding bras that fit, then the data here starts really making sense and you can use it to find more bras that fit to your own perimeters and style, etc. If 30G was close to fitting, there's no reason to jump up to 32HH, but you can always try it just to see how it fits for science sake.

  • I agree with Wilderness1 . If a 30G was feeling pretty good I wouldn’t jump up that much farther. If you remember one or two models and the issues the ladies here are extremely helpful!
