Center Gore and Breast Seperation

This year I have already tried a bunch of bras/bikinis. And I found a strange phenomenon. I have close set boobs, when I try a regular bra/regular strapless bra with center gore taller than 8 cm or wider than 2 cm (for example 8.2×2.3 cm or 7.0×2.5 cm), it never fits. The center gore will float up and cut into my breast tissue around the gore. But when I try a bikini top with the same or even more cup seperation, there's no problem. I don't know why. I guess maybe it depends on cup depth.

  • It could also be due to the fabric of the cup. I can try a soft cup bra and it fits against my sternum way better, but if I try a bra with a foam like cup that has a narrower center gore, it can float. My boobs push more against the stuff cup and push it away ever so slightly, where as the softer fabric bras have more give.

Maybe you are right, I feel the cups of bikini tops are a little bit softer than the normal padded bras. They are more similar to sport bras.

By the way, I saw you have tried a Panache Anya Bikini Top but without success. If you like the stripes style as well, you can try one in 30G. This style has a discount in many online shops.
