Freya +HH and above

I haven't tried it for years. Is the cup still same and projective friendly? or did they change a bit?
since CurvyKate discontinued 28 band, not much options left. -and i didn't have many either ever.-

  • I've heard their bands are stretchy so 28s fit like 30s

  • Lately I've been trying Freya plunges. I've worn 28F Panache Cleo's for years as well as some assorted Panache bras. Since I'd heard Freya bands are stretchy and cups are deep I sized down to a 28E. Big mistake, bands fit but the cups were too small. I just got the Wild Poppy, Soiree Lace and Lovenote in 28F. I also have a Cleo Asher in a 28F.
For comparison I tried the bras on backwards and upside down. The Cleo Asher has the tightest band but not the best overall fit for me. The Freya closest in band fit to the Asher is the Wild-Poppy, next is the Soiree Lace, then the LoveNote. Both the Wild-Poppy and Soiree fit snug on the last hooks. The Lovenote is the loosest but not by a huge difference. The Soiree Lace is black which may be the reason why it's a little more snug.
The Soiree also feels snug under my arms. I believe this is due to a slightly too small cup. The wires fit on the sides but the gore doesn't tack. Same issue with the Lovenote and Wild-Poppy.
Today I got a Jasmine Meadow in a 28FF. It fits quite well. The band seems to be the same as the others, not as snug as the Cleo's but comfortable in the 1st hook. The gore tacks, the wires are slightly wide on the sides but not bothersome. I don't have the snugness under arm like I do in the Soiree Lace.
The oddest part of this whole picture is my underbust measurements are actually smaller than before. I'm very surprised the bands aren't as big as I thought they would be. I'm also surprised I'm more of an FF cup in the plunges.
Also, the Soiree Lace and LoveNote have projection both at the wires and the apex. Not sure yet if that will make a difference for me in an FF.
It was a big leap of faith for me to try Freya plunges after wearing Cleo balcony bras for so long. Hoe this helps.
