No matter what bra i wear, whether it’s a compression sports bra, underwire bra, wireless bra, I always feel great discomfort. My shoulders, back, and chest muscles feel very tight and uncomfortable. I’m always fidgeting and moving my upper body in discomfort. Is this a bra issue? Or could it be something else. Not sure if it’s worth seeing a doctor for anyway, since it’s just some discomfort but not pain.

  • It’s worth talking to your doctor about it. I can only speak of my own experience, but I have major lower back issues from an injury 20 years ago, and a shoulder that acts up from a fall I took off a dirt bike 15 years ago. I also fell and broke my tailbone last December, also re-injuring my lower back. There are some days I feel like a hot mess express and feel so uncomfortable, I don’t want any bra touching me. Which is partly why I just purchased bras with a slightly looser band than what I actually need. It’s not my bra causing issues, it’s my actual body nerve sensitivity going haywire sometimes. Next time you visit your doctor bring it up. There are never any stupid questions when it comes to your health and well-being. :)
Hope you can find something to help make you comfy soon.

  • Maybe see a chiropractor? Don't know if they'd be able to help but they might at least send you in the right direction.
