Problem with slip sizing

I wonder if anyone here knows my problem. I purchased a total of 2 slips that match my bras, one Cleo Marcie rio slip and one Comexim Victoria slip. Both of them are in size M but none of them fits. They are way too small and cut into my body tissue. I don't know why. I have about 78 cm across my navel and 101 cm across my hip, normally I wear a cotton slip in size M from C&A and it fits very comfortably.

Can someone help me out?

  • Hi, I am wondering if you are referring to panties? For me a slip is like a skirt or dress that you wear on top of your underwear but under your dress. If you are referring to panties, I know exactly what you mean, I get squeezed in uncomfortable and unattractive ways by nearly all UK panties, I haven’t bought many polish panties, I have always been nervous because I see them cutting in on the models in the picture, and so I worry that it would be an uncomfortable and expensive mistake to buy them. I do really like it when people include the measurements and a short review of their panties here when they get a matching set. Personally I love stretch lace panties, they are pretty and comfortable!

  • veggiechic yes here in german speaking countries, the word "slip" is used for briefs / panties. The other meaning of slip "underskirt" is not known here.

smjwzhan I hear you, all panties I had to match my UK bras did not fit properly, so I avoid buying them. (Also they are usually quite expensive.) They either are too loose or cut in. I prefer plain cotton pants I get from Bonprix or I have some from C&A too. Sometimes they match in color to my bra whichis a plus. I think C&A cuts generously so you might have to size up in UK brands.
