Corset
Hello! Any corset wearers here? I would like to purchase one for myself/and my SO for Valentines. I am thinking an overbust style. I usually wear a 34:7. Should I size it to my waist or bust? Any advice is welcome. ☺️

Hey Buttercupsss, I would get a corset sized to fit your waist, then make sure the corset has enough rib, hip, and bust spring to fit you to the level you want to close the corset to. For example, my natural waist is 24 inches so I prefer to buy an 18 inch corset. My goal is to eventually close the corset, so I look for one that measures about 26 inches underbust when closed, and roughly 30 inches in the hip spring when closed. However, this does mean that the corset is slightly loose at the edges until I eventually close it completely. If you are just looking for something not to actually waist-train in, then I would suggest getting a corset maybe only 2-4 inch reduction from your natural waist with less dramatic curve, so you don't have empty space at the top and bottom.
