Bra size calculators + size changes

Recently I noticed that my bras don't fit properly. I got some neck pain. I just felt the need to wear the bands on tighter setting to get enough support. Also most bras I have some paging on top, I think I could be down 1/2 band and cup size or something...
I also always get this sort of neck pain after my PMS when my boobs are down in size. So I probably have the size down to fit my "normal" boobs while my old bras still fit my PMS boobs very well.

Anyway I googled some bra size calculators and measured myself.

Here is what I typed in:
underbust tight (bbt): 73cm / 29in
underbust snug: 77cm / 30 in
underbust loose: 83cm / 32in
bust standing in bra: 106cm / 41.5in
bust laying down: 114cm / 45in
bust bending over: 119cm / 47in

http://www.sophisticatedpair.com/bra-size-calculator/ gives me UK 30HH / 32H. (from my experience this calculator gives 1-2 cup smaller than what I could wear)

https://www.abrathatfits.org/calculator.php A bra that fits recommends 32HH/32J. I typed in my measurements in cm.

http://www.mybrasizecalculator.com/index.php#calctable They only accept measuements in inch so I had to use an online converter. They gave me UK size 30JJ and 32J as a sister size. Something weird I noticed: when typing in my bust laying down I made a mistake and typed in 46 at first. It gave me 30LL with sister size of 32L! Like what? one inch up is 4 cup sizes bigger??? Must be an error!

Anyway how do these calculators work for you?
Do the recommended sizes fit you? Also do you notice small fit difference of bras immeadiately? Like getting neck pain if the cups / band fit a bit big? I feel bad about it... like it is not more than 1/2 cup or so why I would I notice it so much? Also it means I'm gonna order some bras in 32HH - 32J maybe 30JJ to see if they fit better.

  • I did the linked calculator, and it is correct (30F/FF). The Sophisticated Pair one has traditionally been correct as well. The ABTF has sometimes been correct and sometimes not. It’s usually more correct if I use cm but I usually use in.

  • I tried the mybrasizecalculator one and got "UK E/F" with sister sizes of 28DD/E and 24F/FF. Since I fit well into Ewa Michalak 60Gs/65FFs if the bands run tight or regular 28FFs, and my tight underbust is 25", I'm pretty skeptical of this calculator.
A Sophisticated Pair gave me 26FF or 28F, which is pretty close, but since it only asks for standing bust (my leaning bust measurement is ~2.5 inches bigger than my standing bust), it's guaranteed to underestimate my cup size.
ABTF gave me 28E/F with a disclaimer that the calculator is less reliable in this size range.

I've lost 5 or so pounds recently, so if I used my measurements from when I originally used the ABTF calculator, that one would probably have given me 28FF.
