Stella McCartney Smooth & Lace Contour Plunge advice

My best fitting bras are unlined and I hate the shape that gives so I always go with lined which means kind of smashing my projection into a shallower cup. I like Natori Feathers but it gaps at the inside due to not being large enough cup/not projected enough and my shape is more triangle than round. It's wearable if my shirt isn't too tight. The Stella McCartney plunge bras I've been looking at seem good for my type of shape other than that it will obviously be too shallow so I'm looking for comparison between those and Natori Feathers!

  • Welcome to the site! It is great that you are taking an interest in finding super bras that suit you. To better help you in your journey it works best for us if you enter in data (measurements! Be sure to look up how to do that.) on your current bras, include front, side, and back photos, and write up some comments on what you think about the bra. Do some research on this site about what others are saying about the bras that you currently have.

The biggest thing is get yourself measured so that you know what you are dealing with. How big around is your torso actually? Look at some pictures that match your own breasts. Look at some pictures of women in sizes that the measurements indicate might be a fit for you - not what size you think you are!

Unfortunately, it is a bit of work to navigate the bra world. I have found that it is definitely worth it to find bras that fit, are not painful, and flatter my bosom. Wins all round. So get out that tape measure and give yourself and others some information to work with!

  • I am not really new though I just lost my past login.

I know how to find the correct fitting bra based on my measurements, unfortunately that's just not what I want shape wise so in this case I actually don't want my measurements or opinions about fit to be considered in the equation.

I know what amount of ill-fittingness I'm willing to work with to get an "ideal" shape instead of a very relaxed and flattened lemon, if you know what I mean :)
